    LoL i though that as i hit submit... but figured some people would automatically dismiss if i put the actual title Monster Mashup - Halloween Bashup !?!

    (since mashup have a negative / hip-hop connotation)

    although anyone who;s hear me play opem format / mashup KNOW i never play more than 20% R&B/Hip-Hop LOL ;)

    Both new cars....both Audi's.... both 4 door sedans. Clearly two different cars. I guess those who can't afford the S4 should consider the A4 but shouldn't diss Audi for charging $20K more for 140HP and considerably significant technology for the same vehicle...an A4.

    This analogy can be exercised with many other examples.....it's called 'apples and oranges'

    But you def get what you pay for... why buy a VW w/ an Audi logo when you really want an Audi...

    Bottom Line here is a Prediction: some people will go, some won't some will feel it's worth it others will feel ripped off...

    but the DJ's will make what they ask for or agree to (sometimes to secure a cozy conf. spot or other deals)

    And honestly i do agree that DJ's fee's should reflect the capacity of the venue no matter how large / small.. and the Venues should pay more local DJ's upon the same scale (given thier years of experience)...

    At the risk of Swank calling me Mr. Negative........

    I said it in another thread and I'll say it here. K&Y will never have any success until they begin to understand their markets. They can't get the A-List crowd they originally wanted so they have turned to promoters like Swank and the music-loving crowd they attract. But, instead of saying, "this is who we are going to be", and adjusting the entire place to the new format....they just change the music and let all the Deep Housers complain about the prices. What they don't get is that if they dropped the prices to be in line with any other club, they would do higher bar numbers.

    in addition, at least offer some better / longer open bar options for the music loving crowd (which will help fill the place early)...

    But all griping aside...

    I did love his set.. he's adjusted over the few times he's been here and now knows his venues a little better and plays to them very well.

    Can't wait to hear and see him next month ;)

    I've heard him a few times now (in & out of FL & WMC) and I must say this set was the best... Esp if you were there from the beginning (which is highly recommended :cool:)

    I can understand how some expected the traditional "Deep OM" style which is probably best known for.. but i honestly thought his set was much better with it being diverse and well ridden.

    Yeah i didn't have high expectations either so i guess it was a B- / C+ depending on if you were male / female :P

    and yes I though C. R. looked really good in the movie...

    Maybe it was me but it seemed like half the acting was o.k. and the other half was out of place.. I could have been better w/o J.T. (IMO)
