  1. I said in NJ, not in Arizona (right, isn't that where that show took place)... you are not old, I remember watching that show...in re-runs, lol... Anthony PS Allishara, who isn't yummy?
  2. My vote, 1) Topps diner off Rt 21 2) Kenilworth diner (I'm partial) Anthony
  3. I don't know if you are trying to be funny or after reading some of your posts if you just screwed up, but your gender is male, not he. If you're trying to be funny, then you made me laugh, and ignore this post.... anyway, let as many people post on here and promote everything and anything they want. I am promoting the Licktey Split in Ortley Beach, it's a great new club with a good vibe..do you want to kick my ass now? You're not losing sleep over it, it's not changing your life any (or maybe it is), let people say whatever they want..if you don't like it, don't read it.... Just a little free advice
  4. true dat... I can't believe that I missed one of Junior's best nights. From what I gather from some of my friends that went, it was one of if not his best performance....argg, give me a gun, the time has come... Oh well, Jonesing for Junior's Birthday... Anthony
  5. Justin, yeah I remember you, what's up, small world huh...when are you coming down to the lovely Jersey shore?? cutie, Neptunes had lost their liquor license because of the fiasco that the previous weekend had caused with Dennis Rodman being down there, underage drinking, they beat up an undercover cop, bartenders and bouncers getting busted for selling stuff, anyway, they got their liquor license back that day at like 3 or something and then everyone swarmed over there...lot's of fun Anthony
  6. Yeah when he took off his shirt I almost fell down laughing...I was reading the NY board (should have posted it there instead of the NJ board considering the Hampton's is in NY, doh) and everyone who posted said it was great, so I guess it was just me and...shawn, did you see that girl humping a wooden post all night, she was up in that section, mess... cesarleo, Yeah, we did stay at Chez Allen Acre's...dump..were you staying there or did we meet? Anthony
  7. yeah it was my first time in the Hampton's too and the first time that I heard Ojeda live, I just wasn't feeling him, all the train sounds and all the horns, just wasn't working for me...he did play Absolutely Not and Alone, which are two of my favorite tracks, but wasn't impressed by anything more.. Did you see when that guy/girl was doing the performance to Absolutely Not and he/she went into the crowd and all the stupid juiceheads tried battling him/her, too funny... I would definitely go back to the Hamptons but just not to CPI's, probably check out Brazil or some other club... Anthony
  8. so if we don't know each other then don't talk about me or what I do or don't do on this board
  9. I just don't like it when people are all in my grill... Here is my much anticipated review of Tempts... summer of 98 was the best...this year for me at least, it's just getting routine, has nothing to do with the club, but I keep going back, hoping it's different...Sundays blow away Saturdays, the one Sunday I was there, I had a blast.... Anthony
  10. rumor has it lapdancer that you're being a big pussy hiding behind this board...do I know you? Bump, I hear that you are also a regular at Tempts, hmm, I wonder why?? I don't post a review because Saleen, Joey carbone, and ceotter seem to have that patented... Anthony
  11. For what it's worth, here it is... 1) Neptune's Saturday afternoon...this place is awesome, crowd, vibe, attitude, a lot of fun, best happy hour I've ever been to..and as much as I hate Howie Bongo, he added to the atmosphere..(PS, Surf Club in NJ needs to build something outside so you can hang out in the open, it's a club on the beach but it's all indoors for the most part, Neptune's is cool because you're hanging under the sun... 2) CPI's.. ickkk...crowd sucked, vibe sucked, music was ehh at best, horrible, trainwreck sweatbox...here's an idea, invest in some A/C.. 3) Space...very good, the place is ok, music was really good, some guy named DJ Sean Ink, hat's off to him, crowd was cool, a lot of fun.. Well there it is, discuss amongst yourselves, just my opinion.. Anthony
  12. I'll start.... Hi do you sell 2-seater bicycles?? Anthony
  13. Yes I am working on a track right now with DJ Balls from Down-under, lol@!!! Fran you suck, you're always a disaster area ------------------ ok, terrific then
  14. That was definitely one of the best times I ever had. The music was awesome, the crowd was the best I have ever seen at Twilo, just incredible. Was anyone still there when that performer fell like 15 feet to the floor. Another Twilo memory filed away for when I'm old and gray. Anthony ------------------ ok, terrific then
  15. Don't get me confused, I'm as straight as an arrow and I totally agree with you that eye candy is a definite plus, but I've been at SF and trust me, there is much more eye candy at Twilo then at SF. Exit probably has the most, in comparing the bigger clubs, or at least used to. Maybe WWF/World now. Let's be realistic, it is a gay party and there are "Chelsea boys" there, but I think the party is underestimated when it comes to the female species and I think the music, THE most important aspect of a good night, offsets that. Besides, if I'm a girl why would I want to go to SF and be on defensive because a) every guy is grabbing my ass and with the amount of steroids in there you can open a GNC. Grab your friends go check Junior out, believe me, you will love it. Don't mean to pick on SF, but it's so easy of a target. Anthony ------------------ ok, terrific then
  16. why do people leave at 5, or 5:30 when Junior comes on. Everyone is praising Mauro's set this Saturday, and deservedly so, I liked it as well, but then everyone leaves, why? Even on other nights, it seems that there's a fire drill at 5:00 or something. Is it Junior, the crowd, what? If everyone is so homophobic, if you are there with your friends, then nothing else matters, hang out with them and have a great time. Who cares who's around you. There are plenty of cool people who hang there when Junior comes on. And it sounds that from the people that stayed after Mauro's set, they loved JV just as much and even more. Just a thought. Anthony ------------------ ok, terrific then
  17. How is the place, crowd, music, vibe, etc??? Anthony ------------------ ok, terrific then
  18. First off, I haven't been there in while so I was impressed to see what they have done with the place. I like the new "mezzanine" level and moving the DJ booth. The dance floor is still under construction but it's better laid out, more room, something that place definitely needed. Now to the music, what happened? I heard 2 vocals the whole night. I've read some posts saying that the music was slamming, aside from the vocals and maybe one other song that was recognizable, how can you distinguish any of the songs he played. It was like pots and pans in there. It sounded like one long drawn out mixing of beats, mish moshed together. No soul, no rythym, no vibe. I guess it's just not my style. Thank god Junior is back. Didn't mean to offend any die hard JP fans, I used to be one too, but I was really dissapointed with his musical style that night. Anthony ------------------ ok, terrific then
  19. Jason, Wait, Jay-Z was with Mariah? I got to come back!!!!
  20. Andy spun incredible last night. The crowd was great, the music was great. Derek Jeter and Tino Martinez were there. Tino, aren't you married, lol?? Alex Rodriguez was said to be there too but I didn't see him. You guys should really check Andy out and check this party out. I kept ttrying to leave but it was very hard. Andy, happy b-day again and next time learn to say thank you, lol. Anthony
