I would like to collect some opinions on this topic. I love Music, but I also love the shows that these clubs entertain us with. Particularly the S&M type shows. I can't really figure out why I like them so much. . . and NO. . . it is not because I am a sex freak or anything like that. I think it is something artistic. I totally agree with what most of everyone is saying, BUT I am in the same situation and have to say that I do not agree with not dancing with other people. My BF & I have been exclusive going strong for 4 years. We have been clubbing for all of them too! Guys approach me all of the time when we are out & I DO dance with them & the same goes for my BF. BUT, we have a TRUST & a COMPANIONSHIP that if a guy seems to be getting a little too friendly, he steps in without hesitation. My Question to you is. . . . you didn't say ANYTHING to this SLOB who had his hands all over your girl where they didn't belong????? I give it to you. . . being so understanding. My BF would have killed him -then me for letting it happen. Bottom line is, maybe you should have a serious talk with your GF, before one day it goes just too far! I met my BF @ a club. . . and I never really did things like I did with him on that night . . . we just connected I guess. We were all hands, but never kissed until we actually got to know each other a little better. We're both funny like that I guess. I have to disagree with you on this one. I feel that meeting a person online IS different. . . mainly because words are a lot louder than than actions. If you meet someone face to face, you get the "1st impression" about a person. Online. . . you get the impression they want to give you. . . not necessarily how they are. So yes. . .it CAN be more dangerous than meeting a person in a club. . . not to mention a club is considered a public place. Just my opinion. Good luck Sweetie & enjoy. .just follow your gut feeling! MissDiva. . . I'm with you on this one all the way. BTW - your book I'm sure is going to be EXCELLENT. . . can't wait to read it. This lady is one of the people which I particulary can't stand. They say stupid, arrogant garbage like this and THEY are the ones who go through life feeling insecure, & incomplete with their lives. Not to mention that this lady is probably just so old-fashioned that they she only will(did) get married & have a family as long as her parents approve. I feel I have met some of the MOST intelligent people in the clubs today. I can't even begin to stress the excellent conversations I have had with people on the weekends in the clubs, drugged, drunk, OR straight. Matter of fact. . . last week I met a Thoracic Surgeon Student having a blast @ Limelight last weekend. As for myself, I work in a professional office - wearing a suite everyday. . . just waiting for the weekend to come. . . so I can Dance, Listen to The Music I Love, and Continue to Meet New People. Sure. . . Just make it a group thing. This way if he is not what he seems, at least you will not be alone.
