the parties at GROOVE JET are never more than $10, so it should be an economical night for all. david and louis are both very excited about this Friday, so it should be that much more interesting. and then we all go to vinyl for afterhours cause it's only a few blocks away...

Well, it's not exactly my apartment. It's gonna be at GROOVE JET. OH WHATS THE DIFFERENCE! People dancin', drinkin', havin' a good time. Just like my apartment. I posted this as "TWILO MEET UP" a few days ago and got a very wierd responce. Apparently there are members of this board who do not like it when other members write posts about good parties. I also got a few responces and "pms" about how TWILO is dead but the party still goes on at ARC. To me, that is fuckin' hilarious. My TWILO experiences always went hand in hand with FREE JACK N' COKES from the TWILO bar staff and I don't think I'll be able to rekindle that experience at ARC. Call me silly, but I like to have a cocktail when I'm at a party. Afterhours I can understand, but why go there before last call? Anyhoo, just wanted to let EVERYBODY know about the little get together at GROOVE JET this Friday. Believe me, this party is a refreshing change of pace due to the great energy that the crowd puts out week after week. It's not a mystery though. People know they're going to hear good music when they come to Groove Jet and they come prepared to dance.

Call him a relic call him what ya will... Todays music ain't got the same soul... Thats why I like that old time KEOKI shit!!! I don't care how old this guy is. Keoki can still blow a crowd's mind! GROOVE JET is slowly becoming the ONLY place to drink, party, and hear quality DJs at an affordable price BEFORE going to hear Danny Tenaglia at ARC. Probably because GROOVE JET is in walking distance to ARC. OVERALL, Groove Jet is a good FRIDAY night party (and that is no lie!).

Opening DJ did what an opening DJ is expected to do. KEOKI rocked it! There were a few flashbacks from the "club kid" era. Went till past 4am but I thought they would go later (DT's 4 year anniversary. hard competition). Overall, the party seemed to be fun filled (unlike many of the friday night parties out there). GROOVE JET is slowly becoming the last (and best) stop to grab a drink before heading to ARC to hear Danny. GOOD PARTY!

Do U miss Groove Jet Miami as much as I do? Keoki just spun at GROOVE JET NYC and he was AMAZING! Friday nights at Groove Jet here in NYC are probably the only "groove jet like" night left at that venue. I bet you'll see GROOVE JET pop up at the conference with their own party. Actually, count on it!
