I would suggest Bermuda or XS on a Saturday night - there is more space to move and the music is good. Tempts is a better choice for Sunday nights. Basically, you can wear whatever you want (no dress codes) within reason. Tempts is a lot more casual than the other 2 places. ------------------

Yes, he definitely is on a trip of no return, but hey I give him credit he goes out there and has a great time without caring about what others think.........we should all be a little bit more like that. ------------------

Freaky72.. If you can not go out without taking X than you are going out for the wrong reasons and your main focus of this whole scene is the drugs. Drugs are used to enhance your experience. I used to enjoy my times out a lot better if I was messed up, but it in no way shape or form controls it. I go out sober all of the time because I am there for the music and my friends. No offense, but if you need drugs to have a good time than you have a problem. That is not an insult.......I have some friends that have the same view on this topic and they often worry me. ------------------

That actually happens to me all of the time. I could have a pill in front of my face and have no urge to take it. I guess now a days I think before I act and I realize that sometimes I just am not in the mood to stay up late and get all cracked out. ------------------

I have a house in Belmar and I am going through the same thing..........only problem is I am the one that is not really feelin' the Belmar scene. DJais is pretty good on Friday, but it is so hot and crowded and the guys at the door are such a-holes. I have a change (I moved) on my liscnese and I brought a copy of my birth certificate and they told me that next time I needed my original........that was the end of that place. ------------------

Personally it doesn't matter either way. I like to look at guys that are in shape......when they are too big it is unattractive, but they do not bother me being in the same place that I am in. I just hope they realize the only people that really look at them or notice their size are other guys. Girls are really not into that........I like a tight defined man myself. ------------------

There will always be DRAMA! And about playing old music.......sometimes I think that is a good thing. I like to hear the old mixed in with the new........there are some damn good songs from back in the day!!! ------------------

I was there a couple of weeks ago......it was pretty good. The majority of the crowd is a bit older, but the show is really cute especially if you are into the 70's ------------------

JoyBoy, I am leaving to go down after work. I have a house in Belmar so I will most likely be going to Djais tonight. I would love to meet up (weren't we supposed to do that last year)....I think I might venture out to Seaside on Saturday. Just let me know. The city is not as crowded during the summer, but if you were going to go I would check out Ohm.......sounds like the party there tonight should be good. If you go to the shore than you should definitely go to XS tonight. Tempts is teen night and I am not sure about the party at Bermuda on Fridays ------------------

Okay, okay I was not trying to start an argument. Just making a point. I actually go to the Jersey Shore and I like to read about what's going on I just think that they seperated the baords for a reason, so why don't people utilize that? ------------------

Definitely check out Bermuda, it is worth it. If you are not into it you can always go down the block to Tempts. The good thing about the shore is that there is a place for everyone. ------------------

That was the first article that I read on E that was actually informative without a lot of assumptions. The one thing that they did that I thought was good was that they actually studied individual people without making generalized judgements. ------------------

I'm 24, been clubbin for about 5-6 years........and I usually get hooked up a lot when I go out...otherwise I have a good job and can support my habit. ------------------

Addaboy, My thoughts exactly.......keep the the madness away. I was at Tempts Sunday and only lasted an hour - it was ridiculously crowded (exactly how I knew it would be) and the music was good I guess........I was not impressed. ------------------
