been there and done that. my only complaint was that ashley banged it out way too early. in my opinion, let danny do the entire night. i don't know too many other djs that can warm up a room better than howells.

hate to say it but some of you are taking this msg board way too serious.

any thoughts? these mixes confirm that this sound that sasha is pushing isn't my cup of tea. my days of dropping bombs and loosing myself into his music are pretty much over.
i did however enjoy some of the tracks he put on his airdrawndagger album which is great for home listening...

AMEN....that month i caught him twice, once at Vinyl (dh vs dt) and the next week at Crobar....both great sets, but in Crobar it took him awhile to get to the point....but still he layed sick tracks from beginning to end....Crobar just has a lack of energy, went there last week to see Who Da Funk and u could hear a pin drop....and the tracks were outta hand....in Crobar its more about being seen, than about the music or the dj (usually)......Put Howells at Space and u will def. see a diff. energy and a much better set....just my .02
so if its about the music and the dj at space, why is it the only time howells played there was during the conference in march 2001? oh well, better late than never.
how long will his set be? who is opening? if u want to do it right, have him go as long as he goes here in ny. he will break your legs...

yeah, des can rock it. Saw him last month when he opened up for John Creamer at Shelter but the sound system sounded like shit. I can't believe that was the same sound system that used to rock twilo.
Anyways, Des won't disappoint.
