This will be very interesting..since Centro never had a decent sound system..it'll be great to hear all these dj's in a Phazon system.. Actually it just came across my mind..isnt Shelter going to be the same place as where Speed used to be (4 floors/rooftop)..did they renovate this place?

Hey everyone... I just want to say Centro-Fly will be sickest place between end of October and November... Here is the lineup but not sure if it is confirmed yet...but this is what I heard from a few promotional sources... oct 23 (tues): BT Oct 25 : Quivver at centro promoting his TRANCEPORT 5 Nov 1: Seb Fontaine (first time he's in nyc since earlier this spring at Twilo) Nov 8: Deep Dish (never disappoints, had a great time the first time they were at Centro) Nov 15: Carl Cox (not confirmed, but heard about it..this would be an interesting nite).. and of course oakey at hammerstein on nov 22 w/ seb and d-fuse..$45 bucks is steep but im sure everyone will still pay to see these guys Let me ask this question to the board? If you had one choice to choose, which nite would u go? For me I would say Carl Cox...I havent seen him for a while since last year at Twilo...he always fun to watch when he gets into his music...but also I would like to see Seb do his thing for a whole nite at centro not just 2 hours set......

I'm down for a meetup...I was thinkin why dont we have a meetup at 2am downstairs where the bathrooms are located...maybe where the seatings are? as far as dress code....i've been to centro on a sat and it seems they arent to strict w/ dress code...just look neat and i think its 21+ for everyone since they always check my id... I rarely post here but i definitely want to meet couple of people from this board....

I was just checkin out centro-fly website and I couldnt believe they've booked these djs together this thurs....wow...last time i only heard tomei played at filter 14 for about an hour since it was on a tues, and my friends had to leave...it should be great to hear him spin at a bigger venue and better system plus Lord G. is one of my fav dj from the past, plays alot of tribal, sometimes latin beats house music Anyone here plannin to go this thurs?

It should be a good nite for Seaman since he's promoting his new cd......I'm plannin to head out there tonite w/ a couple of my friends...As far as Manny Lehman he plays alot of vocal/tribal house similar to Jr Vasquez...

Anyone plannin to head out to Twilo on Sat?...It should be a good nite since his new cd came out...I figure everyone else will go to Limelight for Gatecrasher...its always too packed on those nite...but Seaman is always great to hear.... btw did anyone get a chance to hear his new cd Renaissance...im trying to pick one up but i cant find it in the city

I think you should go check it out...Basement Jazz are the guest dj this Sat....I might actually go check it out myself...they play tech/deep house...overall, centro fly is the place to be thurs-sat...people are really cool and you have to be 21+, most of the people are around 21-26 but it definitely has a good vibe and best djs in nyc other than twilo.....

I heard from a friend of mine that Sasha has been on a drug rehab since the beginning of the year when Digweed spun at Twilo by himself...I'm not sure if it is 100% true but hopefully Sasha will be back here soon...I'm sure Digweed misses playing w/ him at Twilo, they dont get to spin together as much

Hey Crystalmethod, MixMag is actually one of my fav mag the uk version and us version, also i read m.o.s mag and muzik, ...i always like to read about the uk clublife....one day i hope to go there as a vacation..everybody says uk is all about dance music while the u.s. is all commercial music (hip hop, cheezy dance music, pop music) but hey as long as you make the big $...

I know how it feels going to work Fri morning, after going out till the wee-hours the night before but hey i think its worth especially if you hate your job.....but as far as myself im still looking for a job so I dont have to worry about getting up so early in the morning... So its 2 am in front of the dj booth..anyone else plannin to meet up?

Just want to know who's plannin to head out there out tomorrow...i havent seen him since the oakey event in thanksgiving....but everyone should check him out if u get a chance... plus i heard erick morillo will also be spinnin so it'll be a good mixture of everything in my opinion centro-fly thurs has the best crowd, no attitude, plus the best dj lineup for a pre-weekend event =)

Hopefully I'll be able to see him tonite..didnt get a chance to catch him last time....does anybody remember how he played his set last time? If I do go, I'll try to make it to the meetup at 2

Other than the usual electronic/house music....i love to listen to RnB, sometimes slow jams, and also the 80's ....and still enjoying my freestyle music =)

I really had a good time there too....for a tues. night, it was a fun crowd....too bad my friends had to leave early for work or else i wouldve stayed longer....but hiro was good too, ending his set w/ some progressive beats and then tomei came on and started off really nice....the crowd was really in the dancing mood..overall a good nite... did anyone check out downstair near the coat check they had this amazing flat screen tv mounted against the wall...nice shit to have in your house...i was amazed by it....
