If its going to be 60 - 75bux a ticket and its only 21+..... i would have to say that snd became sellouts....... i have chilled with them many times, and chilled with digweed on his yacht party in miami. they are very cool people... but for those stats... it doesnt add up, some shit went down. Well... tiesto is getting 16k for spinning at world this weekend. its neg. depending on your connection with the dj and booking agency. I get around $1500 per hour in nyc and miami, and anywhere from 2-4k per hour in international events. That would be a basic salary for a international dj in midhigher ranks, but top levels like digger and oakey make high figures, which is why they dont play at the same venue week after week after week unless they are booked residents or great friends with the owners/runners. Vinyl is more than music, its an experiance..... The people, the whole vibe, its all u need:-) i love tiesto, but the whole event being at world kills my joy of going, i'd rather be with my family at vinyl... home :-) world doesnt have such a great vibe in my opinion, its too commercial and just not setup great. they do have good lights and all but its not budging me to go... It might be at Hammerstein... could it be that SnD will be this years Trancegiving tour? last year it was Oakenfold at Hammer.... so it might be SnD this year... we'll have to wait n see... since im behind the scenes on these things, i think there's too much politics involved if they make it in any one single club here in nyc... its obviouse why since twilo closed down.. :-(

Since it was shelter... I always loved that place, because of the music, the great vibe i get when im there and oh yeah.. the music!. I used to love exit, but come on... its way too big for its own sake.. when you have a club like vinyl which packs it in with a great dj, nothing can compete... Exit is just way to big, too many things going on and the crowd is too commercial. Dont get me wrong, I love spinning at exit and all these superclubs, but when its 7am and your still dancin ur ass off cuz the crowds vide is just sooooooooo there, thats all u need :-)
