In Connecticut, we take over SPRIS in Hartford, and turn this high-end Italian restaurant into a club of even more diverse people & cultures that all peacefully coexist on the same dance floor. IS THERE A DRESS CODE? ... AND DON’T YOU “RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ADMISSIONâ€? Well ya, we do reserve the right, but the crowd is so funky & cool, that you can come in your tuxedo & cummerbund, suit, casual, or come in your shorts and sneakers - we really don’t care … Why? - b/c any fool can get dressed up to try and impress a doorman. (Recurring Note to Self: Assholes usually wear suit & tie and attempt to “dress to impressâ€) * However, you will not see Bubb Rubb there, suit or not WHAT’S THE MUSIC LIKE? Powered by the sonic boom of Karas Audio (and damn I love that UREI mixer), it’s Deep, Vocal, Soulful House that attracts just about everyone under the sun (at night). * If you want Techno, R&B, Top40 or Hip Hop, make your way down the street to another venue please WHAT KIND OF CROWD DO YOU GET? The crowd is primarily 300+ S/G/B/B/W/H/NA/SA/ME/A/AP/E/WI and Icelanders … in other words - Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet ! Haven't you seen these picture before ? ... newer ones to come IS THERE A COVER? Well, not until recently – the first 15 or so FLIPSIDEs were free, but since I had significant holdings in ImClone, WorldCom and Enron, together with my commute from Washington, DC to CT solely for this party, we’ve instituted a nominal cover charge from here out – no more than $5 though. WHAT ABOUT THE DRINK PRICES ? – YOU KNOW US HOUSEHEADS ARE CHEAP ?
