Anyone have any suggestions for a lounge or bar to throw birthday party on a Saturday night? Probably looking at 20 or so peeps. Nothing to expensive, nothing pretentious....just good music and a good vibe pls I have been to many birthday parties where you get promised the world but it ends up being a horror show. A little birdie told me that Roger Sanchez and Scum Frog were doing a gig in the Hamptons this weekend. Couldn't find anythign on their web site. Anyone got the details? Also, is Space in Southampton still open? The threw some decent parties on the big holiday weekends last year.

I dont think I am going to use Bring it On since I want to screw around Spain and France before and after Ibiza....need some time to recover before returning to reality. I am going to be over there around July 4th. I know its a bit early but some of the people who are coming are starting work after that. I think I am doing the villa thing. I agree that Kapital and Joy are definitely worth a visit to when in Madrid but they really are a bit on the cheezy side. They almost have tourist trap potential. I was there last Sunday and was shooting the shit with some Irish dudes at a bar and they mentioned a place called Weekends. I checked it out and it was an absolutely sick time. Great tribal house (definitely no Britney Spears) and a great crowd. It definitely had more of a NYC feel to it and lets just say the party favors were in abundance as well. I guess the people that throw this party (its only on Sundays) have a bunch of others during the week. Check it out: www.tripfamily.com Cheers

No, unfortunately, Junior will not be in Vegas on NYE. He will be at Exit as expected. Drai's Lounge in Barbary Coast is still open and is still a great time...at least it was when I was there in August. Cheers

Some more searching on the link to the promoters web site shows Crystal Method on the Friday and Skribbles on NYE. I actually have never seen Skribbles...isnt he a bit commercial in the music he plays? Still could be a good time anyway.

Still nothing new about PvD at C2K. If he does do anything, it will definitely be at 6ish. I spoke to the club and they are planning a regular night with their resident DJs...early on anyway. Anyone ever been there and seen these guys? Any good? It is only 40 bucks by the way. If Junior is going to play, where would he? RA has the Ghetto party mentioned above. Anyone know the details about Oakie in Vegas? On his site it says he will be at House of Blues from 3AM-12 Noon. Pretty insane if he will be the only one spinning. Plus House of Blues is not that big of a venue. Oh yeah...they want $165 a ticket. While on the topic, anyone know any good NYE parties in Vegas? Rumor has it Paul Van Dyk will be there as well.
