not much of a night life compared to belmar and seaside.. but.. check The Shell, The Ketch or The Marlin.. Joe Pops is more of a older bar crowd.. Those are the best places to go on the Island.. Your better off trying to meet chicks and see if they're having any parties.. and don't drive drunk in LBI.. Trust me..

Try not to expect too much from LBI.. You'll have a good time w' 17 of your boys.. but its nothing close to Merge, Temps and Surf.. the Shell is a pretty decent hotel/motel.. the bar/club is one of the better places to go in LBI.. AC is about an hour and fifteen minutes away.. take 72 to the Prkwy and Prkwy South to AC Expressway.. but honestly.. LBI doesn't have much of a Nightlife.. so really don't expect too much.. The clubs are like bad versions of Docs.. Don't get me wrong.. I have a great time in LBI but I'm not looking for a time like going to Temps.. no nudie bars either.. you might find one outside the island somewhere?

The Ketch, The Marlin and The Shell are all good places to go.. Joe Pops is ok.. If your staying at a Hotel/Motel.. defintely stay at the Shell.. Most of the happening stuff on the island is towards Beach Haven.. but.. what ever you do.. DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE! DWI Capitol of NJ.. Its bad..

A bunch of my friends are always talking about happy hour at Whisky Cafe.. I've never been.. but hearing from them.. I believe its still pretty good

Music is good.. They've had Peters, Denny Tsettos, George Acosta to name a few.. The dress code isn't too strict.. Admission is anywhere between $10-20... depending on who the DJ is and what time of night your there.. it gets a huge rush around 2:00 when all the other bars and clubs are closing.. You can't do any better then EC in Philly..

i've only seen 2 new tuesday parties.. La'Carta and R Bar.. If your referring to Diva Lounge.. we've had a tuesday party for over a year now.. we're always keeping it fresh with new promotions however.. goodluck

Here's how I figure it.. when I do work.. I get to be out and make $$ doing it.. everyone else goes out and looses money.. Bartending you still get to meet chicks and everything so.. I really don't mind doing the school/work thing all week and then bartending all weekend..

first off.. I don't really know what you are talking about? Mendez didn't have anything to do with New Year's Eve this yr? Second.. please explain how the owner stiffed people that paid in advance? and also what did not exist at all? I can defintely see a customer that came in and had a miserable time complain about the establishment.. for instance the drinks tasted horrible, bad service, bad music, off crowd etc.. but that doesn't seem to be you.. could you please clariffy what EXACTLY caused you to tell people not to waste your time with DIVA? I'm sure we can get to the bottom of this.. and hopefully fix it for the future..
