I had Omnipoint for three years and I had not one problem till it turned into Voicestream. I complained and complained for months... nothing. Couldn't make outgoing calls about third of the time and people kept telling me that they had to call me at least five times b4 they got through, thats bullsh*t. The best is when you call and complain they act like its so random and an isolated incedent. When I dropped the service the teller was like why???? I told her to chech all my complaints and she "oh wow" since I'd called so many times. I HATE VOICESTREAM, hate it, I had the same cell # for 3 years and had to drop it.

I am getting my ass across the river to hear Chris Lewis play at your party on Sunday. He totally rocked at Clubplanet's last DJ spin-off and took home third that night in a really close race. I then heard him at Webster Hall awhile back and was equaly impressed.

They do. I love living here but the a lot of people really need an attitude ajustment. I am really thinking of going to Brooklyn. I never go out on SI maybe the Cargo for drinks and eats. But thats it.

I think even a more popular vocal tune can peak a moment, commercial or not. I have a weak spot for Alice Deejay for some reason, but I think whats at hand here, what most longterm and educated house heads complain about is much in tune with the artical Vicious wrote in the first edition of your zine. Here he alluded to audiences tasted being conditioned by industry/politcal radio. When thats all you know, your basis of comparison is shallower and there a fewer songs that make there way into the ears of the masses.
Taste is subjective, but the more flavors you have in which you make that opinion makes your pallet richer.

I think a well placed vocal can create an unparrelled magical moment on the floor, ie Sasha dropping HideU at 9am. On the same note, I feel that too many divas spoil a mix as well. The beauty of electronic music is the fact it is void of the boundaries that a spoken language creates. A sequence of sounds and a steady rhythm pattern has brought people together through dance since the dawn of time and continues to do so which I think is truely universal, recapturing the essence of the human spirit, recreating the future primitive. To many people rely on a song to create a moment that last only as long as the four or five minutes that the song lasts, but a jock who builds his groove off an intrinsict rhythm can hold your attention for hours...

OK, so you are STUCK in FLORIDA... Are you sure that is a bad thing? I open the door to my apartment and there was like afoot of snow that I had to sweep out of the hallway. HMMM there should be some halfway decent parties down there. Call the Underground Record Soure in Orlando 1800-881-5944 tell them the situation and they can lead you in the right direction to parties that should fit your musical tastes. I use to buy records from them years ago.

I am playing @ 2 and Thomas Penton is playing before me. He is a great up and coming producer from Forida with releases on a few european labels. It should be a crazy night,free games and drinks. The Barcode people confirmed everything last minute so... I'm stoked for it anyway.
