Hello everybody....been awhile since my last post...apologies...but I've been busy in the studio with Roger Sanchez......those of you who haven't heard him, should....Crobar tonight will be insane...as was the last time he spun there a month ago.... Roger is def. different than Digweed...I see a few references towards him...but just so you know, Roger is a Grammy winning producer/remixer and has a residency in Ibiza at Pacha. He is from our area, although he spends most of his time travelling to places all over the globe.....our house music is definitely more appreciated overseas than here....so, he travels all year. His style is very versatile...he spins according to the crowd, the time, the atmosphere...He likes to be close to his people, so you will usuallly find him spinning on the main floor, he prefers his booth to be in the crowd, not above. That's a big thing for him.... He plays good music, whether its vocals, tribal, hard house, he mixes it up for the crowd...knows how to read the energy......I highly recommend checking Crobar out tonight...and also checkin out his site www.releaseyourself.com Roger also owns his own record label, Stealth, out of the UK...and he's doing a solo album with Sony UK, coming out next Spring....I have a few songs on it...and we also have a duet, of sorts, on his Release Yourself Vol. 3 Compilation cd out now....it's called "Hot 4 U"....this Spring/Summer 2004 we will be touring together....and stay tuned for the upcoming "Release Yourself" party at Crobar, where I'll be performing....date TBA See you all there tonight! Was nice meeting you too hun! That was only your second time there? wow! Yeah, I desperately needed food.....Funny, I knew it was time for me to leave when this cute boy came up to me and said "Hey, my friend wants to know why your not dancing anymore" and I laughed and said "well, I keep telling my feet to move and their not listening, really, I'm trying to move and my body just doesn't want to respond!" and I just kept laughing....after that I realized I had to leave...lol If I had food, it would've been different... lol...thanks hun....SF is still my "home" for keeping my dance skills on point.....Some of the guys I've known for 6 yrs or more.....I have so much fun feeding off of everyone else's energy.....what time did you stay until. The circle usually gets bigger and better the later you stay. At the beginning, 10-3pm for me, the circle was a mess b/c it was too crowded and too many people vying for the inside spot. As it cleared out, we were all allowed our space, and turn, to display our style and moves. Plus, most people start losing their energy and they just mostly watch, which is when I take advantage of that time and go off.....Had such a great night! Come say hi next time you see me...I will usually have my "PURE" t'shirt on, either White or Black with Rhinestones and/or my Black Yankees hat on.....pretty signature for me there....OH, and come check out a show when I'm in town.... I had a great time dancing in the circle from 10am-8pm....SOBER....as were some other dancers I know that go straight. The only reason why I left was because I needed food. They should open a mini-restaurant...lol....I did have a great time and knew well enough to sleep Sat. night before going..... Lisa Pure

Thank you for originally calling me to be involved. I look forward to working with you in the future and continuing our friendship! Makes me very happy to know that their are plenty of genuine people in the business, and most of them were a part of that night. I truly had a great time and wish I could've given you my actual show....I usually perform both Rainfalls and I'm Over You with my two dancers, but I was happy to get up and sing....was a treat to have Chad dance alongside me. I've known him for years!
