    alli's missing the point. all the people that rave about BOA, do it because its a place for people that know eachother to meet, drink and enjoy eachother's company. no one said that BOA is THE best place in NJ, and if they did it was said jokingly. i don't know about you, but even if i'm not in the best club one night, if i'm with friends and i'm able to have a couple of drinks, i'll have a good time. thats what happens at BOA. its all about your company.

    the BOA crowd uses this forum to communicate, and they love the place as you can see from their posts, but once again, BOA isn't for everybody, only the........

    hey allishara, i didn't mean to say you aren't sexy, since we've never met.

    i think you got the wrong impression of the place before going there. if i went by what i read on here about the place i'd be mislead also. it is what it is. let it be written.

    anyway, for an all around excellent night, i think most clubs in NJ fall short. not saying they are bad, just not the best.

    If going out in Newark is your thing, check out Privelage on 130 Main & Kossuth Street (long time Newark clubbers will rememeber Don Manuels). It has reopened with DJ Frankie Vazquez who has played Webster Hall and made a guest appearance at Pacha in Ibiza. For those of you who don't know the place is small, its relaxed, the crowd is cool, dressy, no sneakers, and the music is off the hook. just something different to do in old NWK....

  24. Club Abyss opinions requested.....

    I was a long time friday night Abyss goer, until about 1 year ago. I went back to see Tsettos there this Friday. I was expecting to see a bigger crowd. Maybe it looked like less people because of the way its remodeled, not sure. I checked out downstairs, and I wasn't feelin the vibe down there at all.

    I still had a great night, but no doubt, the place doesn't seem to have that same feeling.

    The staff at Abyss is still great, better than most clubs I've been too.

    Hopefully the upcoming DJ lineup will bring in some more energy...
