  1. I too am looking for some stimulating conversation.... SO ~NY vs London huh? Well I have been to both places and IMHO I envy London for the large crowds they pull for a VARIETY of sounds.

Drum and Bass parties PACKED- Breakbeat parties PACKED- Trance-House- etc the list goes on .... they have Top notch DJ"S in every Genre and the parties are full ,as opposed to some 'decent" NYC dj trying to build a "trip hop" party(just an example) and 6 people show up-London has a SOLID base crowd for all types of Dance music- not just the NYC style BS we have here that draws Bridge and Tunnel people`we really have to search too hard to find GOOD parties. When we DO find them, we're usually only 1 of 10 in the room-PROPS TO THE UK for DIVERSITY musically-;)

  2. ". i just wonder how its 3 am and he got from syareville to KTU So fast because they just sadi "dAnny tsettos working the mix"

Ummm- the show is pre-recorded to Digital Audio Tape or CD- He's not Actually there in the studio. So... that's why you thought the timing was off, and you'd be right !

When i leave if i feel as if i want to ask for a number i always ask and tell the person that if they dont want to give me a number they dont have to we can just take it as a fun night and thats it. Its just the attitude invlolved. Some women expect it. I guess what pisses me off is when you see a good looking woman who feels obligated to flirt with evey guy in the place and tease them all, but if a guy meets one womean and "got lucky" hes a dawg for just sleeping with someone. I just guess maybe its true you cant meet a nice girl in a club

You can meet a NICE girl in a club~ They're just harder to find!

(just as beautiful-but less "OBVIOUS") but I see your point- that must really suck- i too know girls like that- they go out with $100.00 and come home with $150.00 LOL ~keep your head up tho' They're definatley out there;)

  4. Although I agree that there are plenty of women who are nuts-

Is it really that big of a deal to meet a girl at a club and buy a drink? She looks pretty; she speaks pretty? Y'al talk and get to know each other a little ?("God it so crowded",or "The Dj~

is playin some Joints tonite-" "I like your shirt.".. WHATEVER- Is it THAT big~a~Deal~ to buy a girl a drink(what's it $5.OO)??? I think its Gentalman-ly and courteous and polite. What do you Care if it cost you Five Dollars to realize "she~ A~ HO-"? (worst case scenario)

Truth is ... If you guys had "HARD ONS" for Fewer women it would be less costly.Stop trying to buy drinks to get laid (ho's are 20.oo in NYC BTW) and start trying to make friends- be selective!!

AND YOU MAY GET WHAT YOU NEED/NOT NESSACARILY (sp)WHAT YOU WANT~~

p.s I buy my own drinks. Sometimes when a guy offers to buy me a drink with out even trying to get to know me or talking to me ~ I feel a tad obligated to "hang out with him"~i guess now i know why, with some guys saying they don't buy drinks unless they're gonna "hook up"-

what a shame i thought this was a forum to intelligently discuss music and the club scene.. a safe haven where you can discuss youropinion with out the fearof being called names, specifically -Bitch~~for thats a big one as I am a woman.

For the record, you re not the First person who's listened to a DJ and been disappointed as "clubbing"/difference of opinionexsisted LONG BEFORE you wereborn and will continue LONG after youre GONE,hopefully without name calling it's so unattractiveand ignorant universally, not ONLY my opinion

WHATEVER.. my friends and I had a Great time, never the less.

Wow, I had no idea that some people STILL think that "newer"

is better. And further more I hope Regina's "Danny's" reference was

aimed primarily toward Danny Howells because ANYONE who Knows Tenaglia knows that DT is all about mixing old records to new ones and just really --playing whatever he feels --as I got the feeling SteveLawler did, at least i hope he did. Whatever the case I had a wonderful time.

  7. What an awsome night. Wasn't sure if i was going to go b/c I

    had no-one to

go with,my bestfriend had plans/ "work" friends,so I settled in to go to bed early and then it happened!the phone rang at 330am and it was my bestfriend saying how would you feel about...........................................

going to check out Lawler!!! I'll come and get you in 15 mins." by the time I got dressed, she got changed, and we got on the road we were in the club by 4:15 and WOW the music was incredible !! Danced all nite- great vibe!! Left at 8:00 am. haven't had that good a time in a long, long time!! So much fun !! What an incredible DJ - it was my first time hearing him live and i hope to hear him again soon!!

  8. The song is by Dubtribe and the name of it is "Do it Now"- I was a little suprised to see someone mention it on this board but then you said you got it from B2B- They are a favorite of mine I have theyre albums and that song is awsome- very uplifting lyrics-although I dont find it cheesey at all- Its a matter of taste I guess : )

as far as WHAT'S being done hmmm--

BLATANT drug use-- SLOPPY-we all party but --c'mon a little discretion

BLATANT disrespect for others (ie- puking in garbage cans- running thru people- OD- ing on shit)

    the crowd well--

looks very bridge and tunnel to me WHICH is NOt a bad thing for

some but- def. a new developement over the last yr. -- chicks in high heels wearing HIGH ticket items-- Big shirtless muscle heads who think theyre the ONLY people in th club- (really people if the club is crowded and we all only have 6inches of space a piece MUST YOU KICK DANCE?)GOD need i go on. Its changed drastically. Some like this new way..... others like myself and ADV do not. SO yes for us Fri.'s ARE done !

I totally agree with you!! That going thru It record SUCKED- it was noisy and angry and I- including alot of the other people-that LOVE Danny AND Vinyl decided that during that song was the PERFECT time to take a break to the Lounge in the back for

drinks. As far as the Energy being raised due to that-- depends on what your looking for= there were some people there who were so Wrecked they would've danced to "pots and Pans"(which is what i think that JP record sounds like) I felt the room OPEN right after Greg O's record "The Drill" and even more

after we sang happy B-day-and the place cleared out a bit- That's

when in My opinion Danny turned it- I left at almost 11am.Made me forget alot of the disgusting shit I saw that evening.almost:blank:

The club should cater to harder music and real world known djs. The local guy may be a nice kid, but, not a major dj. When he sells hundreds of thousands of cd, then maybe you can try to compare. Until then, to the "people or friends" that are sticking up for teo or manny, you should stop your CRYING.No one was knocking them as a dj, it has just been decided that they are not right for xs. Live with it. It is not so bad to have world renound dj spinning for everyone in seaside. OPEN YOU MINDS!!

YOU MIGHT LIKE WHAT WHAT YOU HEAR.

I have a a open mind, however, what ever the "plan" they have for XS- that is the problem. No one is saying anything about Johhny coming in to do guest spots- thats not the issue-Its about getting rid of your resident Dj for Eddie Baez- for no apparrent reason. As far as liking what I hear- well thats another story-

    johnny's cool people~ but Im a Tenaglia fan ; )

dont EVEN TRY TO FRONT KEITH-- i know for a fact that you got in the "ears" of those in control at XS who were already nervous and sketchy b/c XS shouldve stayed closed this winter like they did every other year-and theywere gonna close for the winter- instead they thought Teo could be a magician

who would "invent' people to show up- that place is pretty much a ghost town in the winter esp w/ Abyss and Bunka only 30 miles away&they've had the winter market for yrs.-they tried to be a year round club in a resort town- and b/c TEO introduced you to some DJ's and industry people and KINDA opened your eyes to NYC (we took you to Twilo for your first time ever dude) Now YOU KNOW THE SCENE right?- reaching out for DJs that you met through TEO even- Now youre gonna tell the folks at XS how

it should be "We should get a Dj producer in here' and people will come- out" the people came for Johnny etc b/c it was something

different and you all Promoted the shit out of it- The other suggestion was track acts but you guys didnt book 1-!!!you just blamed the Dj instead- XS wants something that it cant have_There is only 1 Tempts at the Shore-

XS was awsome last yr IN ITS OWN RIGHT b/c it was different w/ Teo there! Teo held his own as an individual-And you guys pretended to "get it"all last summer, and then stabbed him in his back. And as far as yal being friends he's a bigger person than me - also i KNOW teo's friends HELL I AM TEOs friend and the way you behave is not how we roll!

    Thats the real!

i agree w/ flizz- and somehow, his knowing that XS is gonna suck this summer, leads me to believe he'll be doing something better than picketing. The problem with Seaside is their greed. It will never be NYC- we all know that-and being that Denny has brought 'that"type of crowd to tempts in the summer the 'SAME OWNERS" of XS arent happy with only that-- they need both Places

jammed packed-with 'northern club heads to make EVEN more money. Well

news flash- Eddie Baez is NOT goin to make that happen. But what HAS happened is that an incredible Dj,who has remained loyal to Seaside for 8 yrs (b/c that area is he lives) is now out of a job this summer. Teos played in NYC as well -but remained true to Seaside and shared his incredible talent with his "local"

community-and offered heads something DIFFERENT BY FAR- the managment at XS let him go b/c he's not a Denny wannabe or NYC 'style' carbon copy-which is what it TAKES to succeed beyond jersey- which is what teo will accomplish for that reason. So Keith(correction made)

make your tips-serve you drinks-and get banged up ALLLL summer like you do EVERY YEAR you and all yor Friends- but by he time you turn around winter will be here and you'll want guestlist

privleges to Teo's party*TRUST* and i hope all yal are ABRUPTLY DENIED-

  15. The WOMAN in the backroom at Vinyl IS Niki- and she IS a friend of Danny's,(and mine) and if you could'nt come back there then... you can't. However, in response to the idea that it's a cracked out room... you are right~ but that's no fault of Niki's. it is the fault of the male

bouncers who always (when niki is dancing or not paying attention)

allows any one with DD's/ or the "muscle jerk" friends of theirs in that room and its become quite the hassle to go around and kick all of them out, mainly because most of them are whacked. If your not getting in it's because its for people who know or are a guest of Danny OR are "sneaked"in by whatever "I think i have authority" bouncer on staff that night- However after speaking to Kevin regarding this issue THATS all about to change and NOONE gets in there unless you are a special guest or friend. PERIOD!!!

  16. I have been going to Vinyl for three yrs.As of the last year ive been going less and less waiting for it to "go back to the way it used to be"BUT after this past Fri I realized that that's not going to happen. It is now a crack/GHB/CrystalMeth den complete with fights and people being carried out. SO that being said... to all those who came to this wonderful party and ENFORCED YOUR WAY of clubbing as opposed to ADHEREING to OUR WAY .. congratulations you win!! It is NOW a complete shithole,VIBELESS-SOULESS filthy rude people filled dump.

Perhaps you took "Be Yourself" a little too far.

    thanks Alot
