Friday night at exit was off the hook. I got to exit early so i wouldnt have to wait in those long ass lines that used to be at twilo and it paid off, not to mention that my flight got in at 830pm and i was done killing time at some bar in time square. Me and my girl get into the club and its no hassles, after letting go of 100 clams for entry for 2 we went in and made a B line to the bar. 2 rum and cokes another 20 bucks with tip I knew this was gonna be a typically expensive NYC trip.. by the time PvD gets oin at 1am this place was as packed as twilo and the crowd was going nuts when "are you ready for?........" PVD flashes on the monitors above the dj booth.. PvD came on and tore it up. No mistakes all night, fluid mixing and killer driving bass lines with minimal cheese. Even though he dropped alot of tracks from his past 2 live sets, there were plenty more that were darker and harder as the night progressed. It sounded good even on the bassheavy system that exit has. He played for an extra 30 mins than scheduled and ended at 530am and the place was still packed, then edgar v stepped up and i had to catch my 7am flight back home. Its taken me 2 days to recover from friday. I'll have this set was one to remember.. here are the songs that i rem in no particular order pvd- take me higher pvd vs city - suzanne seven of 9 cream avenue of course- ralpbhie b- massive m factor- mother and a whole lot more, that i cant remember right now.. hmm i think ive lost too many brain cells.. :eek: Its good to know he hasnt lost it like alot of old pvd fans think Anyways just wanted to share with you guys that couldnt make it. patrick

most resturaunts are quite expensive in south beach, besides spend your money on drinking and other fine condiments. i'll be eating pizza all week! there are a ton of newyork stlye pizza joints on washington like between 5th and 7th streets they are also open 24 hrs!! there is also a subway at 5th and washington. as far as a meetup? im not going to ultra, too many little kids running around, (all ages event) and the sets are too short 1.5 hrs for most big djs.. i will def be a t space on sunday for PVD!!! cant wait...

Yeah the CD is nice, definately more his live set style than his out there and back cd. But still it does not compare to seeing him live.

pvd is on from 11-2 and encore! so give that about 15 mins and then more time it will take to gather your thoughts when the lights come on, by the time you get to yor car it'll be around 3. it'll be interesting.

Hey egg, no i used to see you on the twilo board, didnt post much myself but used to run up there for pvd every other month. Will be good to see some twilo faces again. I'm sure we'll bump into each other sooner or later.

Alot of the songs on Pvd's new cd are his own unique remixes.. Hes a mad scientist when it comes to remixing for his live sets too, I caught this loop that he added in Questions may be asked on his new cd, sick.. There are plenty more additives that he addded to the tracks on the politics cd.. I remember hearing Happiness at twilo and thinking bastard! he took the singing out! brilliant! just becuase his remixes are not mass produced, dont count him out.. As far as Tiesto goes, if you look at his recent set lists, you see alot of tracks that were dropped by oakey a long time ago! (the insigma- open your eyes) i mean pvd has been dropping this off and on, but hes come up with his own origianal remix.. radiate is gonna be ill, i take my hat off to who ever will still have energy to brave glow..
