How can u not like glosticks when you see how happy they make so many peeps? I don't use 'em, but I def dig watching the peeps who do! and I don't even get high... 31, still partyin' like a rock star, showing no signs of stopping and loving every minute of it! Right on Dirtyslapper, I luv the look on the boys faces, tho sometimes I feel a little guilty (teasing the animals?) and Divalicious, you and yer bud are lucky 2 have each other... My buds are all married with babies and I think we are all equally baffled by each other! Most of my friends don't club and those who do are always mad high and never finish the night with me. Went alone to Twilo last Friday and had a blast with the new friends I made, and closed the joint as usual. I'm always cool with goin' it alone, but still, it's always cool to have peeps to hook up with, so yeah, I say we all hook up - whoever's into it, anyway. I'll be outta town this weekend (camping - don't ask!) but would def b down for next weekend. How 'bout Vinyl on Friday? I haven't been there yet. Unless there's a rave or a bridge party... My favorite club in Amsterdam is Trance Buddha. Smallish, but with a very enthusiastic crowd even on weeknights. Sigh, I loved amsterdam. Lotsa good little clubs to party in... Peace...

Mixed feelings about PVD last Friday night: When I got there at 2 the music was kickass, but later (like 5:30 or so..) he started playing some bad bad house, like some mad-crappy remix of Amber's "Sexual" (?!?!). We were in the VIP, and my buddy had to go down and see if they'd switched DJs or sumthin, but it was still PVD. I've never seen the room so still in the VIP as it was then. When we went back down to the main floor it was still really weak and half the crowd was gone, so my peeps left around 6:30. Since it was PVD I refused to leave (cuz he's still the man, of course...) and I'm pretty glad I did cuz it made a bit of a comeback, but goddam, what was with all those breaks and that shitty assed 20 minute spin of "every time i close my eyes i see your face"? The breakbeat version? I was confused and disappointed with the tunes, but the crowd after 4 or 5 is always great and I had a blast as usual, danced my ass off, and closed the place, of course. BTW, goddam PVD is a hotty... Melissa

Love EXIT, Love the DJs (Tsettos and Baez - both kickass progressive house guys), will not go in the pool, but will respect those who do cuz that's hardcore! I'm hardcore faw shaw but I'm still getting dressed and made up to hit a club like that and I'm not swimming in my silver satin bellbottoms and bra-top... Wooohoooo, EXIT! My buddy is spinning the Champagne room 2 weeks from Friday - I'm too stoked!!! BTW, I'm 31 (but look 19, or so they say...). PLUR to all, Melissa ------------------

I've only clubbed extensively in London and New York, but I have to say that EXIT is easily the most beautiful club I've been to, has KICKASS progressive house on Saturdays (Denny Tsetos and Eddie Baez are the DJs), and has snowmaking machines on the ceiling to blow snow flurries on the dancefloor. I LOVE THIS CLUB!!!! I agree that there is no BEST club, but goddam I sure do love this place. In Perfect-Melissa-World a Saturday night in NYC will always be EXIT followed by Sound Factory. I haven't been to Twilo on a Saturday night cuz it's gay and altho I really wanna check out Juniorverse and all, I'm straight and generally go to parties with a more diverse crowd... You know about Twilo on Friday's tho, right? Best int'l DJ lineup in town IMHO, long as you don't mind the 18 and over crowd ... Factory ROCKS on Saturday nights, with progressive and deep and vocal house all night til like 2pm on Sunday (I think the DJ is Jonathan Peters). The peeps are very cool and hardcore and goddam I love that place. I think the Factory is beautiful and I love the way they have bowls of fresh fruit on the bars upstairs. It depends on what yer into, I hear Juniorverse rocks as well and I plan to check it out soon, but Factory is a staple in my clubbing diet.
