  8. HE'S BACK!!! Denny Returns to DEKO this Saturday

    For those who have been there and heard it you all know that when Denny plays at DEKO the vibe is as close as it could be to Temps. Well this Saturday, January 4th, Denny returns to DEKO.

    Next Saturday, January 11th, a special birthday celebration for Richie Santana. Richie will have all the boys on the wheels that night including Mike Macaluso, Peter Bailey, Sal Parm and more. This is a very special night for Richie so come in and support.

    So...academic clubs aren't the same as other kinds of clubs.

    Oh, but to dorks like him...

    What do you guys do in your club?

    BRIAN

    In physics, um, we ah, we talk about physics...about properties of physics.

    BENDER

    So it's sorta social...demented and sad, but social. Right?

    BRIAN

    Yeah, well, I guess you could consider it a social situation. I mean there are other children in my club and uh, at the end of the year we have, um, you know, a big banquet, at the, uh, at the Hilton.

    BENDER

    You load up, you party...

    BRIAN

    Well, no, we get dressed up...I mean, but, we don't...we don't get

    high.

    CLAIRE

    (to Bender) Only burners like you get high...

    BRIAN

    And, uh, I didn't have any shoes. So I had to borrow my dad's. It was kinda weird 'cause my mom doesn't like me to wear other people's shoes. And, uh, my cousin Kent...my cousin Kendall from, uh, Indiana...He got high once and you know, he started eating like really weird foods. And uh, and then he just felt like he didn't belong anywhere. You know, kinda like, you know "Twilight Zone" kinda.

    I figured everyone on this board that comes to look at reviews of nightlife in NJ should know whether a review is being posted by a patron of the club or a paid employee. Since I work in this business, let me let everyone know that I do Joeys on Friday and DEKO on Saturday. So yes if I do post about either of these two evenings I have a pro opinion (which is only normal). I know as a guy that works in this business I value what peoples opinions are of other venues as well as mine. My problem is when I am reading a review of a competitor I dont know if the review is coming from an employee or a customer.

    Its only 2 days away and as I have noticed by talking to most of you, no one has really decided where they were going for NYE. If so, check out DEKO (NJ's Hottest Venue & NJ's best Thursday & Saturday Party). Doors open at 9 PM and close at 6 AM. DJs Unique (Nu Society Thursdays) & Richie Santana (Sessions Saturdays).     Here is the 411 for NYE @ NJ's hottest place this Winter. Doors open at 9 PM with a 2 hour Super Premium Open Bar til 11. Music by Nu Society Thursdays DJ, DJ Unique and by Sessions Saturdays DJ, Richie Santana. Doors are open as long as you want them open.

    Tickets are $65 each which includes the open bar and $45 each without the open bar.

    Why not spend NYE at the place you have all been spending your entire Winter at.
