Line was completely out of control. Really huge open plaza though. Waited like an hour to get in, couldn't move once inside. Had a drink, waited for my friends to park and get in. Main floor dj was ok, playin hip hop and that 80s rock that seems to be in right now... went downstairs, waited longer for them to get in. Downstairs DJ was playing house at least. Went back upstairs to get reception and tortured myself to more hip hop so i can get reception. waited more. Then the doors closed at 1am, wtf! So basically I left. I couldn't stand being the only idiot by himself the whole nite...chix were all stuck up and bitchy. went to avalon with friedns at 2. very beautiful venue though...just wished all my friends could have gotten in

Been hearing a lot about this place for sat...anyone know what's going on with it? Crowd? vibe? music? anyone going?

We did a few sorority and frat mixers at this club but we only rented the upstairs floor...is both floors going to be open? Because this club is pretty big. Anyhow, this free parking lot in front is a nice nifty bonus lol...I wish we had it when we did our mixers...think i'll roll through with some heads. Opening parties are always worth a peep

Whoever the promoters are, they bought more of a college white kid hip hop crowd than a draper crowd. The hip hop downstairs was slammin' and the upstairs was the typical exit draper crowd... even this had glowsticx on strings..wtf was thaat all about?? the club itself is beautiful..both floors! I loved it...i just wished there were more draper heads there to support tony! Everyone kinda gravitated towards the hip hop floor...even though they were all like little prissy white kids! THen the bouncer had problems gettin us into the VIP lounge! OH well, it was pretty packed for what it was worth for a thursday party.

I'm not a promoter. I'm pretty excited about this party. NV's a beautiful club...it's always good to visit new venues and I dont think NV's ever catered to an 18+ crowd other than last summer

If you're talking about jersey people, no one goes out to the shore till friday or sat or sunday. Plus all clubs are 21+ there... Same with the Hamptons. I'm sure there'll be plenty of ppl who will come into the city in the summer. I haven't been a promoter for over 3 years nor am i involved in this party but it seems to me you're hating on this party like no tomorrow. FIrst u hate on draper, then u have a pool going on for how long this party lasts... Let the kids eat

Ok, so i went back to 389 studios or DIESEL this friday...this place is getting better by the week. I saw A LOT of hot spanish girls there, some local astoria greek girls too. I'd have to say the girl-guy ratio last fri was like, 2-1. NYE shuold have a great crowd if these commercial promoters bring their roxy and exit and sf ppl. Ooh, last friday they had a huge white sheet covering the stage and behind that, these 3 girls were banging each other with dildos...i tried to peak around the white sheet but i wasn't allowed haha... anyway malakas, I'm there for new years eve!

Ok, i just asked around wtf this diesel party thing is... turns out one of the owners, this guy henry does a friday party there on off nights. A lot of my girl friends who i met at factory are friends with henry and apparently henry and all these friday girls and their ppl are factory heads. Their guys look kinda grimmy..always craked out in some corner...donno how they get into factory in the first place....actually, who doesn't get into SF. But most of the girls are slammin' spanish mamis. Yes, I hate. I see these girls and i'm like, dayum, wa u doing with them crakheads? Then i stop and think...shiet, that's like the pot calling the kettle black lol. Anyway, i dont know if that diesel crowd's gonna be there for NYE but i sure hope all those girls rollin deep go and the guys get rejected at the door lol - Look ma! I drank my HATERade today!

I dont know if we're talking about the same party, but Neil and Dave threw a party there on the last friday of nov i think and it was a pretty sick party up until all my friends and their friends left and dave and neil stopped spinning...I was too drunk to drive and after 4 or so it kinda emptied out and the misfits came out of the woodworks. Actually neil and dave were spinning for that kid yellow eyes and my boy dimitri's private birthday party. I didn't get a chance to check out the DJ booth...it was pretty high up thuogh. I remember dimitri tried to spin for the hell of it bc it was his bday and we were doing the "we're not worth it" bowing motion lol. Keyword being "TRIED" What's this diesel party?? I didn't know they ran regular weekly parties there? I thought they rented the club out for commercials and shows most of the time. well regardless, even though neil and dave aren't spinning, all of us are going bakc for the new years eve party anyway...we had a blast at dave and neil and dimitri and yellow eyes private party...should be even more fun for NYE.

Some club lights are very strong...invisible beams with shorter or longer than visible wavelenghts migth injure retinae. Protection is always warranted.

From what I know, the people who spin the INFUSE parties, which is like, a carbon copy of the TSUNAMI parties, are spinning here. The DJs are from Israel, Brazil, Germany and some guys make music live on stage. I dont know their names exactly but it should be interesting to see how the 'B&T SF roxy exit' crowd meshes with a more musically oriented crowd. Then again, when Dave and Neil spun there last month, there were all these diff rooms and at least 4 systems so should work out. Drinks are pretty cheap, like, 4 dollars for a mixed drink and beer. It was a bit hard to find but i guess it keeps that 'underground' appeal.

Speeed renamed itself DREAM...got a flyer sayin DREAM is on 20 w. 39th street and I remember in my ghetto days i would venture there many times and it was indeed SPEEED... u can check CP's vunue search for SPEEED and u'll get 20w 39th street i bet.
