well 90-95% of the trance is cheese nowadays esp. hard progressive trance but it is funny when people say trance is dead in NYC yet everytime a top euro trance dj comes to nyc it is mobbed with usually a great vibe and mixed crowd. i heard that overdose collaboration with scot project not bad at all but overdose/pulse labels releases really having been slackin in the past yr.

well if u want to go really back and say the downfall was when the club kids vanished in the mid 90's to 96/97, regardless how crazy and ecentric they were the vibe in places whereever they were was unreal......but to me it got real bad in late 99early 2000 when the media started blowin up E, unlike ever before

i agree for the most part with that but it hasnt been the same since the E explosion of 99/2000 alot of people who would never be involved with goin to clubs came out of the wood work cause of that drug. thats when most venues esp. nyc ones started to decline
