yeah, we'll meet up with you if you like (I'm a brit (as if you couldn't tell by my username....), my mate is australian). we were worried last time we went up that we wouldn't get in to Twilo, but going to Vinyl first really was the best plan to avoid the horrendous queue outside Twilo, which pretty much lasts all night. we got there at 6:30 and just walked straight in, the place was kicking, and went on until 10am, so we had plenty of time for fun & games. email me at copleyc@hotmail.com if you want to arrange to meet up somewhere in NYC first. Twilo is a great club - not particularly interesting in terms of the venue itself, but the sound/light system just blows you away....

when's PVD there? I'm down in Miami over Labor Day, but no other plans for september so far. as for the folks, don't let that stop you... mine were here when Carl Cox last played in DC - I had all these good intentions of going home at 3am, then Coxy came on - and that was it - I crawled in at 6:30 am only to be woken by my mum putting breakfast on the table 2 hours later and then had to take them out sightseeing all day. thank god for sunglasses......

I'm already getting them for the 25th.... can't wait. like ravermania, that drive up from DC is just a killer - why does the NJ turnpike go on and on and on and on and on....??

been off on my hols down under. had a top night out in sydney courtesy of boa_boy. memory hazy to say the least! (and if it was like that on a tuesday night I can't begin to imagine what the hell the place is like at the weekends...) NZ was a bit too green and boring though - too much clean air and way too many sheep for anyone's comfort (with the possible exception of welsh hill-farmers....) now back with bad bad jet lag, can't do any work so back to normal fun&games on the message board. planning a w/e in chicago in September - anyone good lined up anywhere?

yeah, do Vinyl first (no line, Danny awesome) then hit Twilo when the losers have left..... we did it last month for the first time and it was a truly religious experience. got into Twilo around 6:30 and had the best 3.5 hours of my life - and it was only $25 doing it again next weekend, and probably every last friday for a few more months yet...

no no no you have to drink loads and loads of vodka redbulls before, and most definitely after.... you can try to drink during but you just end up wandering around with a glass of lukewarm vodka for three hours. not much fun when you take a slug thinking it's water.... after your roll is the key and the only way to go. you're going to feel shitty the next day anyway so you might as well just drink your way through it. boa boy - hope you were referring to our outrageous drinking spree in Sydney. looking forward to another one when you get to NYC... hee hee hee
