I am on the fence........I remember when we used to lower the price of admission at SF in 97' when I promoted there on John Blair night. $10 from 1-3 ahhh good old days. In defense of all...... PVD is an EXPERIENCE! Not a concert in the regular respect but an equally enjoyable experience and anyone that is working in this industry should be very happy that this genre is being given the opportunity to perform in venues such as Central Park. Which used to be reserved for only live bands and the DJs were filler. (just from my personal experience as a volunteer at summerstage for 4 seasons, ps thank you to all the volunteers from CP that also helped ) This is a MADE EVENT....last year it was in conjunction with Summerstage and it was the same price. This year Made is taking on the respondsibility of producing the whole event with no financial help from CPSS. This is no small feat. Poster snipes, promotional flyers, the talent, equipment rentals, venue rentals, etc... It adds up.....and $2 off of every ticket is being donated to ROCK THE VOTE a organization that myself, PVD, Made, and many others are proud to be involved with. So I don't think anyone needs to dispute the charitable donation this event is raising or come down on the fact that a portion of ticket is going to a great org. It's a party....go or don't go. That is your choice. Complain don't complain but don't make it out to be anyone fault but your own for deciding not to go. Go to Central Park, have fun, hang with friends, dance your ass off it's a beautiful experience. Infact below are some video clips from last year. Blaming PVD is not cool he busts his ass more than any DJ I know.....and now he is doing this tour to bring awareness to his fans that while you are partying remember you have rights...use them....vote....and these parties can continue. Actually Mitch.......Saturdays at Roxy are the longest successful running Gay Nights in NYC. Hosted by John Blair w/ DJ Peter Rauhofer & guests. They do about 3000 people every Saturday. Not to mention it's been going for over 5 years. So no one turned away Paul or Mike away. The venue was just unavailable.

MTV 2 has MTV Dance but it's not available everywhere and it's only 2 hours long.

And to those people I say....Yea all Dance sounds the same unlike every song that was produced by N.E.R.D. and Kanye West for like 90 different artists. Such a hypocrisy

It's all good. But a song like Time Our Lives is actually a full vocal that was produced by PVD and the UK Band Vega 4. The video has been played on A3tv, No Cover, DMTV, and a few other shows. Not to mention that Crystal Method has been played on all of those shows plus FUSE. Who was their sponsor for their album tour. And yes not only are they outselling Kylie Minogue's Singles but her album as well. It's just so strange to me how people like the VP of MTV News will come hang out at ULTRA Fest and put some of our music in newsreels but no videos in rotation. Cest la vie. One of the music supervisors had heard the song on the Rock the Vote PSA that was sent around and licensed it for the promos.
