Terry was fired from Ultra years ago and he has never gotten over it.

Just to squash any rumors. Ultra has always and will always continue to take the proper and neccessary actions to make these events happen. It is no easy task but worthwhile because of the enjoyment the organizers and partons get from these events. All proper procedures that were within Ultra's power were taken and completed successfully. It is unfortunate the the community board that serves the area of the 21st St Beach felt there would not be enough police officers to handle not only the Ultra attendees but the overflow of people that would be outside of the venue. Even with added security measures and precautions taken this event, though it originated at the 21st Street Beach many years ago, had to be moved. We again ask that any thoughts you may have in this matter be directed to the appropriate city agencies. Not to sound like a rock the vote commercial. But if you are 18+ and a registered voter in the Miami Beach area you have the ability to Elect your representives that make decisions on these matters. Imagine if every attendee to Ultra actually voted. Or voiced their opinions....

People's anger is understood but telling anyone that we have to co-exist with to F Off is not going to help this event or future Ultra events. Or other promoters for that matter. If you think we are getting a raw deal call the city's office of management yourselves and complain that you think this is unfair. Ultra's productions cost an emmense amount of money to produce these shows and a hell of a lot of heart considering it is a completely thankless task. So though we know a lot of you are dissappointed about the change in venue understand that it sucks for us too. But talking sh*t is counter productive and right now is unneccessary to helping this be a good time for people. There is really not a lot of options for Sunday but if you go out we hope you come see us at the Miami Beach Convention Center. PEACE

I remember when my tax dollars went to policing criminals........ I think the Beastie Boys "Fight for your right" is becoming a promoters anthem in this country.

Certain factions are on a witch hunt for promoters in the US. Fortunately the origanization behind the Ultra Music Festival are responsible and follow the letter of the law. It is sad that right now the event is being harrassed but believe the show will go on. Stay tuned more to come........
