  1. Here's me and my wife, Olga: 8^) (ok, ok, just fixed the pics) [This message has been edited by transluscent (edited 11-02-2000).]
  2. While I like stix, I HATE some of the inconsiderate boneheads using them. Granted, I like to watch a true Glow God/Goddess (especially while on Euro time); occasionally, I still bring some stix myself. Nevertheless, I HATE stix during the following circumstances: 1)Someone flails them about with such wild abandon that they hit someone (Even saw some girl get it in the eye once!). 2)Someone swings them on strings in a club that's so overcrowded that every square foot of space is at a premium (Everyone usually backs away from the dunce not because of admiration, but because of the possibility of the following circumstance). 3)Someone who's swinging the stix doesn't ensure that the string is tied securely enough (I wish I had a $ for every time I'd seen some poor kid across the floor get a glowing missile in the head!). I don't mind that many of the people with stix have no idea what they're doing. Everyone else also had to learn how to do it somewhere.
  3. There are pros and cons. I'm sure you've heard all of them by now. If not, check out www.hyperreal.com or www.ecstacy.org. It all boils down to what kind of person you are and what kind of life you lead. If you have an addictive personality, I wouldn't advocate trying ANY new substances. Nevertheless, E is relatively non-addictive and trying it once is a whole lot safer than trying many many of the other drugs. If you are going to roll, one thing will make all the difference in the word: ENVIRONMENT. Make sure you're somewhere with a good vibe and a general open-mindedness towards drug use. The last thing you want is to be surrounded by hostile people or those who'll judge you. (see my Saturday post!)
  4. p00hp00h, considering that you've only posted to this forum 18 times, one would think you'd be a bit more receptive to newbies. While also I enjoy clubs for the music, occasionally I do roll. I was under the impression that this forum was about acceptance and open-mindedness. Ironically, you seem to be more like a Narc yourself.
  5. Not that there's anything wrong with rolling @ clubs with lots of young kids, but I'm 29 and would like to find a good place to roll with an older crowd. I love Exit, but the crowd is getting so young that my wife and I are starting to stand out like Narcs 8^)
