Yes, I didn't see the documentary named Wigstock, but from what I can recall it is all about the festival.

I'm a tad surprised you haven't heard of Wigstock by now -- this is its 16th year. It's a huge annual drag festival in NYC, with many drag performers and attendees. Drag-supportive artists, including Kristine W, also make appearances and perform. I was so set to go and see it this year, and it's icing on the cake with Kristine W there! But I didn't get to go! At least there's always next year.
Did ANYBODY get to go to Wigstock? Do tell!

I'm so sad! I didn't get to go to Wigstock -- family stuff came up at the last minute! People who went told me she was absolutely AMAZING! I'll definitely be on the lookout for the next time she's in town.

It's my first Wigstock, so I'm actually a little afraid! I hear things get kinda wild, but I'm sure I could handle it ;-p
I also think it's really cool how much she appreciates her drag fans, especially when considering how most of the performers at Wigstock are drag queens.

tranza, I have no idea what you're talking about. The Wigstock I am referring to is the annual drag festival held in NYC every year. This year, it's on September 3rd at Pier 54. It's my first time going, so I guess you could call me a "Wigstock virgin." I don't really know about where it's been held in previous years, but I assumed it's always been at the pier.
I always thought it would be interesting to go see, but now that I know Kristine W is gonna be there then I DEFINITELY wanna go and check it out!
Has anyone else heard of Kristine W?

You must be referring to the August issue of Out Magazine. I went to out.com to read, but the web site only lists table of contents and how to subscribe to the print version! Oh well.
Who knows of some good dance music review sites?

Addaboy, I usually go to the International Lyrics Server at http://www.lyrics.ch/index.htm when I look up song lyrics, but all they have for Kristine W is "One More Try." I'm sure there's probably a fan site somewhere out there that has lyrics to her songs. If I flip through my bookmarks, I might be able to find some good sites.

Remember her? She sang "Feel What You Want," a song that used to get a lot of club play a while ago. Now she has a new song out, "Stronger" (also the title of her new album, which will be released on September 26). I can't get that song out of my head! I wish the clubs I visit would play it more. This is a song that you should definitely not miss.

Wigstock is already tons of fun, but the presence of Kristine W will make it even better! I'm a HUGE fan. Is anyone going to see her at the WKTU Beatstock on August 19? I wish I could go!
