  1. I was sixteen when I started going to raves, then 17 I used to go to the Riv when it was a dance club. And then... I can't believe I am going to admit this... I worked at the Paladrome from 17-19.. Then I went away to college so clubbing stopped. No clubs in college town. I am now 23 and just started up again after I graduated last December 99.

der, your an old fart :P kidding you can chill with us kiddo's anytime smile.gif

it's ok, I am going to be 30 by the time this post goes off... why is this thing so darn SLOW!!!!!

  2. I think it is worth it, considering it is only a "once in a while" thing. I went to the show he had at Crobar. It was AMAZING. I never stopped dancing... as my friends described it... I was in the cage, on the stage, doing glow ropes (which I had never done before that), on the block, and finally on the dance floor. The energy kept me going the whole night. That was only one experience though, who knows, the second time might stink. Oh well, I think it is worth the try.

Tranceaction- thank you for your words, you make more sense than anyone on those bash boards!!

And Tommy, you never go out anyway so you would have to had saved enough money to go!!! wink.gif

  3. I know I might get shunned for this post, considering I read the purefuture board and all the negative comments towards Paul Oakenfold.... but oh well...

Anyways, I just wanted to know if anyone was going to go to see him at the Arogon April 13th???

  4. My heart is in house music, like Chicago DJ's, Lego, Themadthinker, Mazi, but everyone loves a good Psycho Bitch set on the weekends. But when I am in the car, I listen to people like dave matthews, counting crows, Sade.... yes I am admitting that to the clubbers... so sew me wink.gif

  5. It was worth feeling like a human popcycle! Chris Gin warmed me up in the beginning, and Psycho got me sweating!!!

... the only bad outcome.... I am sick as a dog now frown.gif

I agree with tranceaction!!! Those are two BIG things I can't stand either! I DO NOT understand why women don't wear coats... and I am one! How did you not feel vibe though!! The show and lights were fantastic!

Tommy and Der, I am so glad we finally met in person! Hopefully see you both soon.

Missmoneypenny, Now that I know you are the door woman, thank you for being outside this whole winter for us fools!!!

    Kim

  6. That could be a plan....we were deciding on Mission or staying home and saving $$. Saturday we are all planning on going to Crobar then REDNOFIVE, are you going to either?

  7. Had to do V day stuff yesterday, but I am going to try to go next wed. I saw themadthinker who is with 3' last Friday at Transit, it was really good, I think my legs still hurt from dancing smile.gif

  8. Now what do we talk about????

0b32d3c0.gif "Computer games don't affect kids, I mean, if Pacman

affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."

  9. I agree with missmoneypenny, cool heads, logical heads!!! Sorry about my opinion this whole thing is confusing to me! I thought that sobeton was the webmaster of eyecandie, then unknowne8 is defending it like he is the webmaster??? so I am confused. Sorry, typical female wink.gif Hey, I just wanted to know what was up with the whole thing, guess I found out the hard way. Anyways, good luck to all of those involved then.

Sweetheart, we are commenting on this because you TOLD us to by putting it out on a message board, (hitting head with palm of hand) my goodness. Do you need the definition of a MESSAGE BOARD????

Ok, but aside from all the name calling stupid shit, I agree, I don't think it was worth it for the owner to have had your web site taken off, but what I want to know, which is drowning away from the subject because of all the stupid back and forth shit, is what happened....how did the owner of Crobar get your web site off? And why would they take that time to do so? I really enjoyed eyecandie.bizland, and even spread the site out by putting a link on my site for it and spreading the word. Why would they want to kill it though? How did they know you were the owner of the site?? That kind of stuff? You can put your site on MANY different places, shoot mine is on yahoo, but you can put what ever you want on it there. So if you were looking on advice on where to hold your site, look up web hosting on a search engine, but if you were looking for a battle against the patrons of Crobar and your site...... I think that Crobar would win, so you are taking on a huge challenge, sorry sweety.

  12. Hummm. to comment or not to comment that is the question.....

well I really liked the eyecandie.bizland web site. It was cool....

but I am not going to stop going to a club over it???? That is between your business and their business. What happened is between you guys. There are always two different stories. As a patron I am not getting involved. I will just go and dance and find another cool web site. Sorry guys.
