They are the only cigs I can smoke that don't have me coughing or wheezing, and even going through two packs in a day (formerly) I never had the 'burnt' taste in my mouth in the morning. Now it's 1/2 - 1 pack per day.

Interestingly enough, 4 other boards currently operating all stemmed from this one... and most everyone on the other boards cross-posts all the time among them, with zero drama. It seems that it is only when we come to one certain board that we get drama. So, the question I have to ask is, if you "don't have a problem with anyone" yet everyone else "has a problem with you," where wouold common sense suggest the problem stems from? (and Z, this is a generic and collective *you*I'm not saying you in specific.)
Mugz: Check your math again. I can think of more than a handful off the top of my head, including some who have earned temporary posting bans for it, but am not going to name names.

CNYC was THE spot for insight, inside info, reviews, news, rumors, and interaction with the people of nightlife... there were people here who RAN parties... not just subpromoters with tally lists... people who ran record shops... DJs (I mean DJs who spin in places OTHER THAN their bedroom, or mom's basement)... people who knew what they were talking about, and knew how to express themselves coherently and in a cognet manner... and people who knew how to STFU when neccessary.
Yeah, there was shade and drama, as there always is and always will be... but the board never averaged down to the dumbness levels achieved in recent months...
We got to read who was going to be where, and knew whom to talk to to get ourselves in... and if you got on a list, it was a privilege... not like today where I can joke with Paris and say "I'm on the useless list" and she shoots back "Which one? They're all useless" - hey $5 reduced? Woohoo, that takes care of my huge coat check tab, thanks guys! I woulda gone broke if not for that... now I can afford a bottle of lukewarm tap water to refill all night, too! Whew, what a great deal!
Oh well, it was what it was, and it is what it is. Clubland is a different landscape now, so why live in the past? Enjoy the memories, and recognize that those who picked up clubbing in the last two years just don't KHWD. We got memories... if they're not all shot by now
