A friend of mine who (mistakenly) passed up Basement Jaxx for 7 minutes of Oakey...said that he played a song with a female vocal layed over a sick beat from Star Wars...def. not the Darth Vader song from last year. Any help would be appreciated.....

I hear the KKK meetings are fun... especially in Alabama...so if you happen to own a white hood, it might be worth checking out. Aside from that, cow-tipping is considered an art in some spots, so you may want to check out the various galleries dedicated to this.

I have never gotten ID'd at Centro...even though I am 22. Although I do know Lucian at the door, this was the case even before we were introduced. My suggestion is that if you are under 21...try to get on a <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/guestlists/" TARGET="_blank"> guest list</A> ...because I rarely see people getting ID on the gl line. Was anyone else at the 1 year Subliminal anniversary at Centro Fly on Thursday? We sold our Oakie tix for the sake of going to Centro...and it was fucking great. From this board and the people I know that went to Oakie...I think that we made a good choice by making the last minute change. Morillo ripped the place to shreds at the end of the night also.

I used to go to Gemini all the time...its a real cozy spot with IMO the most comfortable couches in the city. The music varies by the night...worth calling to find out what they have when you want to go. Also, I promoted Lava when it first opened and its an ok place to chill...actually now that I think about it ....DEFINITELY go to H2K on 23rd St and 9th Avenue....it is such a great place to chill...TRUST ME...nice music (not blsting)...good drinks and a chill comfy atmosphere.

It makes absoulutely no difference who opens for Junior...Saturday nights from 5 am on are HIS FUCKING HOUSE...Twilo is smart and is pretty much billing Saturdays as 2 seperate nights in one. Earlier on is appealing to the Friday night type crowd...
while Junior does and always will bring in the chelsea boy following. Ofcourse there will be overlaps between the two crowds...but there is such a difference in a one hours time. The vibe can be and IS changed instantaneously and is good for ALL who are there.

Anyway...my recommendation for a really cool place to chill is APT...its on 13th bet. 9th Ave and Washington (meat packing dist)...right before Fressen. There is NO sign at all but the address is 419 W13th Street...you walk throught the fron two doors and then there is another door that looks like an Apartment front door....very chill and as of yet undiscovered...by the annoying masses......

Theres this "little" lounge called Ballroom de Hammerstein.....where some guy named Oakenfold Paulowsky is supposedly spinning some kind of layed back lounge music. Please don't confuse this with Paul Oakenfold at Hammerstein Ballroom going on at the same time, same place.......

I was at Centro on Friday also...def. one of the best nights there in a while. The
Con-fu-sion party is most def. one of the best in all of NYC. Big shouts to my man Lucian for once again hooking the crew up with comps...much appreciated. See you there on Wednesday for Basement Jaxxxxxx!!!

How can you possibly LIKE doing something that you consider to give you a BAD trip? Obviously, the drugs are not agreeing with your body or you are just too mentally fucked up to begin with. Most halleucenogenics (sp) bring to life (visually) your inner thoughts, ideas, etc. If you are emotionally fucked up...you may experience bad trips because you are seeing those things in your life that are troubling you..subconciously. You can try to see a shrink work out your shit and then gobble gobble...but your best bet is to GIVE UP THE FUCKIN DRUGS....is it really worth the trouble?
