A friend of mine who (mistakenly) passed up Basement Jaxx for 7 minutes of Oakey...said that he played a song with a female vocal layed over a sick beat from Star Wars...def. not the Darth Vader song from last year. I hear the KKK meetings are fun... especially in Alabama...so if you happen to own a white hood, it might be worth checking out. I have never gotten ID'd at Centro...even though I am 22. Although I do know Lucian at the door, this was the case even before we were introduced. My suggestion is that if you are under 21...try to get on a <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/guestlists/" TARGET="_blank"> guest list</A> ...because I rarely see people getting ID on the gl line. Was anyone else at the 1 year Subliminal anniversary at Centro Fly on Thursday? We sold our Oakie tix for the sake of going to Centro...and it was fucking great. It makes absoulutely no difference who opens for Junior...Saturday nights from 5 am on are HIS FUCKING HOUSE...Twilo is smart and is pretty much billing Saturdays as 2 seperate nights in one. Theres this "little" lounge called Ballroom de Hammerstein.....where some guy named Oakenfold Paulowsky is supposedly spinning some kind of layed back lounge music. I was at Centro on Friday also...def. one of the best nights there in a while. The Con-fu-sion party is most def. one of the best in all of NYC. How can you possibly LIKE doing something that you consider to give you a BAD trip? Obviously, the drugs are not agreeing with your body or you are just too mentally fucked up to begin with. Most halleucenogenics (sp) bring to life (visually) your inner thoughts, ideas, etc. If you are emotionally fucked up...you may experience bad trips because you are seeing those things in your life that are troubling you..subconciously.
