well living down south all my life, i have experienced many Mardi Gras. There are so many people who go, there is no way in the world that the cops can stop u from doin the things u wanna do. It is virtually impossible. It is a very fun experience and i feel sorry for people up north who cant experience it first hand. Just word of advice: people r ruthless when it comes to the beads that are thrown. Many brawls have errupted over them. What ever u do don't bend over and pick one off the ground because your hand will more than likely get broken!!!!!
