We should DEFINATELY do Korean again. We'll ease Rick into the more authentic side! Let me know what day is good for you. Wait! I'll let you know WHEN is good for me!! hehe. Cause I wanna be able to hang after dinner this time. Okay?
BlueAngel

you & mitchell DEFINITELY have to hang out after dinner next time. you let us know when you're free so we can eat and drink all night like the true koreans we are.

Thatz just the atmosphere I have had the most fun with through my experiencez with going to clubz or barz. But a certain amout of diversity iz needed in the the scene for me to enjoy it the most.
i see that you're trying really hard not to sound like a racist, but you've failed. what the fuck does "the asianz who hang out in that 1 part do-not contribute to my clubbing experience" mean??? of course you feel more comfortable when "the room is more white" you nazi. and "is" is spelled with an "s", not a "z" you bigoted moron.
as for exit not allowing asians in for whatever reason, or any other class of people for that matter...the person at the door was an ass for making that statement. aside from the completely racist implications of that, it's just bad business. whether you like them or not, everyone at the door is a patron. and if you turn a group of people away - any group - you're losing money, especially if you're being specific. and it seems asians are a large part of exit's business. in any case, it's fucked up.

well said claudio, and i agree!

hahahahha. no to make light of this post, but that comment made me giggle.
as far as this situation goes...both you and your girl need to know what eachother's limits are. every relationship is different and people are different. what one person can tolerate, another person can't. your gf should know what your limits are and respect that. if something makes you uncomfortable or puts your trust on the line, then she needs to re-evaluate what's important to her - and vice versa.
i also agree with blueangel - if you reassure her of how beautiful you think she is and how much she means to you, then she doesn't need to look elsewhere to boost her self-confidence. that's a poor excuse to justify her behavior.
trust your gut - if it feels wrong, it probably is.

mine is also carried over from irc. i used to hang out in the korean rooms a lot so i chose a korean word. "yuhwoo" means "fox" in korean. it doesn't quite have the same connotation in korean as it does in english -it's used to describe a certain type of woman...all the korean board members should know what it means.
but i'm with uknjx2 on this one - it's a pain in the ass at meet-ups because no one remembers it. i never thought i would have to identify myself with this name.

castaway. unbreakable. i loved both of them.
i also heard "gift" was good...it sounded intriguing.

trivial question:
is there a list of colors i can choose from for my name? rather than put in the generic colors like blue, yellow, green, etc...i tried entering "light green" in my profile, but it didn't work. just curious.
thanks!

you got that right. just watch a korean video one time. the story lines always contain a fair amount of "goh-seng" (that's "suffering" for all you non-koreans )...some poor girl who got orphaned at birth falls in love with a rich boy who's family does everything to keep her out of his life and then she gets cancer and the only person who can save her is the guy she loves , but his family hates her...on and on and on. koreans eat that shit up. and i'm guilty of watching them too from time to time. hee hee )

it might depend on your razor...if it's really sharp and you get really close it should be as smooth as a baby's bottom. i personally like gilette mach 3 - very close shave and leaves you SMOOTH.
or you can get a brazilian bikini wax. if you can stand the pain, it's worth it.
Anyone know a good "no-fee" apt. listings company?
in New York / New Jersey

if you're looking for an apartment in manhattan, there is a book that lists a lot of the available rentals and the management companies that run those buildings. i think it's called "gabrielle's manhattan rental guide" or something like that. anyway, it shows you pictures of the building, who manages it, phone numbers, etc. go to barnes & noble or borders just ask someone there - they'll know what you're talking about.
my roommate and i went through hell looking for an apartment over the summer. we used brokers, tried some of those wack "no fee" lists - it was a nightmare. using that book takes a little time and effort, not to mention trial and error, but we managed to find our apartment without having to pay a fee or any kind. if you have the patience to sift through the book and call around, it could save you a few thousand grand.
hope this helps...
