the first time Danny Howells came to Vinyl i think was his best set i heard him spin. its weird casue i was talking to some people saying that everytime a dj comes to vinyl its like they change up their style. When Deep Dish came they were good but they didn't play as much tribal more deep progressive "west cost" type house. im not a big fan off junior, ive seen him several times, and i have to say that last night was good. he played some nice tribal tracks which i thought were amazing, danced my ass off from 7 to 6. only thing there was like a handful of girls and most of them were busted. overall, i have to say one of the better nites ive had at Exit. i think i got approached like 20 times on sat night, waiting for my friends to arrive with the party favors. i know what all the security look like so it was funny how he was following my every move for like an hour. i don't trust anybody anymore, got fucked several times so always go prepared.

started of very nice with vocals, progressively worked into much harder beats. they weren't as good as when they were at centro -fly couple months back. i thought they would put on at least more tribal. at least they had drugged ass dancing the whole which was good, vibe was ok, not as good as a friday nite. the only thing i like is the lights tottaly different than seen on friday nites. overall tho it was a good, met some cool people, recived some crazy buggouts, so i think i was a goodnite. the only reason im home my friend was sick and was getting a fever, so we had jet. dt's bday was rediculous, good vibes, music was nice and evil. all im saying nyc just doesn't have the right atmosphere. i go out with my friends and have a good time, i really don't go out to hook with pple, if it happensi just go with the flow, most pple neways that i do meet in clubs are mad skectchy anyway, trust ive learned my lesson from that. i feel like everywhere i go pple are assholes and have bad vibes. everywhere i have went lately has been so depressing cause the music is terrible and pple are just so fake. rarely do i find pple that are there for the "scene". the only place i look forward to going is Vinyl but that shit is getting played out b/c more pple know about and most of them are not there for the music and are a waste of space. i have been going there for well over 3yrs and it just seems to be getting worse and worse, crowd wise, with those fucking juice heads taking there shirts off, cant stand that shit nemore, just ruins the whole club experience in my opinion.

the reason to go out is to go somewhere and enjoy the music meet pple instead of hop scotching around the city wasting money and just getting aggrivated ive been through that many times, and when it comes down to that, everybody is like what the fuck is going on. i like to stay at one place and just enjoy the experince, shit its not like were in Miami here. my 2 cents

this is not a thread to insult anyone, i would like to know how you pple feel. i love to go clubbing and dance and do the whole thing, been to the WMC and going again this year. its so frustrating with such a big city that the venues are so shitty. ive done the lounges, Suite 16, Park, veruka and others, that shit is so boring, pple are so fucking fake. Clubs been to all of them, i frequent vinyl alot because they have the best music in the city. i come here and see pple posting about Roxy, i went there for JV's birthday party and it sounded like a KTU party, horrible music sounded like Top 40 hits, and than you pple talk about going to Vinyl afterward. The music at Roxy and Vinyl are totally on oppositte ends of the spectrum. i don't see how you can compare them. Y spend ur money to hear shitty music, i have done it myslef but from what i see majority of pple do it every week, how do you handle that shit, i sure can't. I went to SF last week, no idea y, but i thought i would never go back there, but that place is so terrible. i don't understand why pple go out to sit on a couch, and bull shit all night. i thought the whole purpose of goin out was to dance and not to stand around in the same spot all nite as i have noticed most pple do at SF. Damn i know some places in CT that play better music than the garbage i hear in some of these clubs in the city, and for less money. the only place to go is Vinyl but im sick of that place, the music is great but the club itself is just nasty along with their asshole security, its easier to do things at SF and Exit than at Vinyl now its insane. With such a great city the Venues just suck, whats goin on!!!!! Can't wait for the WMC to get the fuck out of this hell hole. and its not b/c of 9-11 the city has been in a slump so don't even start with that shit. i know some of you pple feel the same way. lata
