Carl started off slow... i would say he didnt get going til about 230 almost 3. He wasn't the best as usual. Now danny on the other hand. Danny took us to a place I never been before. he was so dark, so dirty so grimey with what he was dropping I felt dirty and loved every second of it. I had an amazing time. Definitely worth every penny.

Carl has been ripping it up sooo many times but i do have to agree some of his best sets were with him and richie hawtin at south street seaport. That had to be one of the most amazing parties I ever went to in MY LIFE and he did kill it at centro fly. The man is just genius. Round two pf president's day @ twilo should be interesting. I need to see this flyer!!!

Who remembers the SOE party with Carl Cox and Richie Hawtin at the southstreet Seaport? I loved all the boo parties. They had amazing Techno lineups. Who remembers the boo party that they rescheduled for 4/20 that had richie hawtin, misstress barbara, christian smith, donald glaude, DJ dan and so many more in one fuckin day? I miss these parties and can't wait to see what the lineup's gonna look like. It better be good to be returning like this.

CT club scene isn't that great. I mean back in the raver days I remember amazing djs coming thru. Feelgood, Donald Glaude, Felix Da Housecat, Josh Wink, Green Velvet and many more. Now the only place in CT bringing in BIG Talent is Room 960. I'm gonna give props where props are due. Alchemy brings in those "Dance Acts" that are a lil too weak for me. Sure you guys brought in serge devant and Jonathan Peters is coming soon but come on guys. You guys brag on how big the club is and how great the sound is blah blah blah. Then bring in BIG DJs. Room 960 keeps them coming to ct. Who cares if they're not a HUGE club. It's all about the talent. Who cares if it's 25-30 dollars. If it's a big dj they have the following, don't worry they sell themselves all you have to do is host them. If you book them, they will come. Unfortunately there are a lot of people in connecticut that aren't really exposed to good house/techno/trance. All they know is what they hear on party 105.3 or KTU. I dj in New Haven. The gay clubs in ct offer better music than the straight ones. I dj for gay night at oracle but the house you get from Gerald Goode and Boyric from New Haven is impressive. I love to throw down a techno set for the gay crowd. They love the hard I can get. Unfortunately I can't get as hard as I would like because everyone then waits for hip hop or want more vocals. CT is just a picky crowd. Not good picks but picky. Here's a thought for your club war on who's the best. Who ever brings Carl Cox to Connecticut can have the title of BEST CLUB IN CONNECTICUT.

Thank you for bring some real talent to CT with out the lil ravers being around. DONT GET ME WRONG... I was a raver a long time ago but it's just so many times i can be ok with gettin hit by glowsticks. KEEP UP THE AMAZIN WORK AND BRING CARL COX!!!!!!!!!!

I must say that i am really impressed by the techno that will be hosted at ultra this year. Don't get me wrong, last year was amazing in the carl cox global arena but prior to that the couple of year before that you didnt have much of a selection. With the return of CArls' global arena and the addition of the Tronic treament stage I must admitt I'm looking forward to this ultra being a techno lovers dream, finally.

Actually carl was counting down from the 20 minute point all the way till they broadcasted on every screen in there the ball dropping and he even helped out with the countdown.. at midnight he stopped the music for 10 seconds then dropped a hard ass track that went insane and everyone was going nuts. NOt sure where you were but i was by the bar on the floor he was spinnin at and everyone around in the club counted down and screamed happy new year at midnight. He even rocked a New years top hat for a while. All I know is he played this track that I am dying for. Has a girl repeating "emergency". It was the last track he played at Avalon in boston. ANyone know what it is let me know.

Actually that's the thing. I think him at Pacha was a million times better than him at crobar in Oct. I mean there was no ridiculous line outside.. around midnight there were a lot of people but it wasn't packed like at crobar where you had people pushing you to get to the bar. You actually had room to dance. The vibe was right, the crowd was right..around 2 he had the system on full blast and if you ever find that set online.. please PLEASE let me know.

He definitely drove everyone nuts. He basically tore up 2005 and brought in 2006 the way it should have. His build UPS out of sooo many he had that night were insane along with the siren and train horn that accompanied them. All in all it was amazing and i think everyone who was there can agree 6 hours of cox is still not enough.
