I have five words for you: Time Out New York magazine!! That has been my BIBLE since I moved up here three weeks ago....it breaks down every day of the week from art to books to comedy to theatre to clubs to dance to eats!! I have found a cool house spot EVERY night by looking in there, most of them free! I believe the issue for that week will drop on Tuesday so be sure to pick it up! Bang The Party at Opaline on Fridays is OFF THE METER, and from there go see Danny at Vinyl/Arcspace or whadeva the fuck. GUARANTEED CLUBBING BLISS until 11am!!

I saw him for the first time during the WMC last year at Space and he's the first DJ I ever heard talk to the crowd and play with the flashlights, etc. Danny rules!! Last I heard of it prior to that was AT Arc last Friday when someone handed me a metrocard flyer thing with the info. Wouda been nice, it was a gorgeous day today. Hope you all enjoyed it! I weep for those who were not able to make it. I had the best Tuesday night of my life up in there. The DJs were sooooooo bangin', and the people were cool and fun as hell. Several of us almost got thrown out for DANCING?!?! What kind of bullshit cabaret law is that? Anyway, it was like a dollar menu Deep Dish LMAO I hope that anyone from their label will come to town again soon, because it was well worth it. Nagging bartenders and all. Tonight, Yoshitoshi's Chris and Kai will be spinning at the Plant Bar, 217 E Third St between Aves B & C. It starts at 8, and is absolutely free! I mentioned this on another thread, but when my ex and I went some time ago, he had the same problem with some of the Asians, giving him dirty looks, asking him to move out of their space, etc. He said he'd go sit somewhere else, and then someone would come and ask him to move again (we're black)!!! I didn't have that problem, and I wish somebody WOULD dare ask me to move. I pay my $30 just like everyone else and will sit where the fuck I please. Being new to this city, I was suprised that such a racial tension would exist, especially at a fucking rave?!?!?!?! I party with any and everyone, because I love to party! And if you want to, then we'll just do the damn thang! I'll never understand the attitude of some people. It's especially a shame with all that's gone on in this city. The more things change.......

I had the best time last night! Danny was awesome ALL NIGHT AND MORNING LONG. I don't think I sat down but once the whole night! Did anyone else go, and what did you think? I'm trying to rest up now for the party at Exit in the morning. LOL

I don't give a motherFUCK where they play, I am there!!!!! I like Exit on Saturdays because of Junior, though it is expensive as hell and I hear Junior doesn't even wanna be bothered with straight people LOL I'm new to NYC, but if I wanna party all night then that's the place to do it. The interesting thing is that my ex said that all these Asian kids kept asking him to get out of "their" areas, if he was sitting down somewhere, they'd ask him to move. THAT is fucked up. Exit doesn't honor guestlists so I've learned, and I'm sure you all have even more reasons to hate them. What other spots do you recommend if I wanna hear some good Erick Morillo type house music? What about GBH on Friday nights?
