I was wondering if anyone can recommend a bar or lounge thats got a dj spinning anything but hip-hop and commercial stuff. Its my birthday this friday and I need to tell my friends where we are to meet. Anyone is on CP is more than welcome of course. I'm in dire need. Thanks:confused:

Hey man that was an amazing article. I have never read that before and though it may be old it is tru. I want to tell you that I just left the US Army - airborne ranger, and I can't tell you how many brave men and women we have fighting for the cause - whatever it may be. I have alot of friends still in and in harms way, good friends. I can't tell you how much it burns me to know that I finished my tour just before all the shit started. Alot of my friends are party kids wanting to do something noble they are nurses, medics, and of course infantrymen. Thanks for putting that out there, I've been deployed - really can't say where, but let me tell you some of those countries really don't care what good we are doing - all they want is us out. Thank man.

So, I remember a time when people used to throw awesome parties. It was a way to meet people, check out new talent, and go through new experiences. I guess because dance music has become mainstream, meaning so many people go to clubs, yet there are only a few, far between parties, at clubs, that provide that kind of wonderful environment of rythms, beats, and "music in motion". My question is does anybody know of any of these gatherings still happening?

Hey I agree. I moved back here late last year and I found that things have changed greatly in seven years. I grew up in NJ and used to love going out to NYC. But now it seems hard to figure out whats going on. However i did find a couple of cool small digz to chill and party at, could use more. I'll check those out - definitely. But good underground parties are almost nonexistant at least to me.

whats up everyone. Just got out of the army. I grew up in northern nj, left for the army 5 yrs ago. My friends are scattered and my parents moved down to central nj. it sucks here. was wondering there are any places to hit around here or if anybody wants to link up and party. I've been down in Georgia hangin in Atlanta. Good scene, not too many good clubs. Just looking for some new friends. I'm a music freak, love to dj - trance, breaks, and DnB. Whats up?
