I would just like to thank everyone who came out last night to support us. As you were all able to see for yourselves last night, nothing happened inside the club and everything went according to plan. I know alot of people thought different things from all the rumors that went around. I cant believe some of the rumors i was hearing from everyone last night. i WILL NEVER LOOK AT THE MEDIA OR NEWS THE SAME WAY AGAIN. Thanks kosta. we are not worried about this.You have to remember, we were there . We saw what really happend. It was minor. Even in the papars after all the bullshit stories they said no one was seriously injured, We actually helped the 5 people who feel in cause they were nervous. They thanked us for not panicing, then all the abulance chaser bullshit starts. Why is it still on the cover of the papers? Who knows, who cares. I cant believe how much the media lies. Just to remind everyone: This incident did NOT happen inside metro lounge, it happened in the RAMADA INN HOTEL SWIMMING/BANQUET ROOM. It was a private HIP- HOP PARTY . Metro Lounge has been open every day since this incident (we are open 7 days a week) ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT ON THE OPERATION OF METRO LOUNGE.....NO EFFECT! METRO IS OPEN!!!! Its not what the town would like to see, its not what certain other "promoters" or "certain " clubs would like to see, but it is true WE ARE OPEN! What the papers are not telling you and fail to mention is that this incedent was in the banquet room of the RAMADA INN.....NOT inside metro lounge.There was NO COLLAPSE OF ANYTHING, AND NO SERIOUS INJURIES. And i guess i forgot to mention that it was a private HIP - HOP PARTY, with hip- hop crowd. Not the usual metro lounge crowd. Not open to the public. Nothing to do with metro lounge. I know how everyone loves to start rumors, so i hope this will clear things up. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED: 1. PRIVATE PARTY in pool room of ramada inn ON SAT NIGHT (NEXT TO METRO LOUNGE). 2. Pool has truss system to convert pool into dance floor 3. For some reason, 2 sections of pool cover (NOT THE WHOLE THING) bent and released 2 sections of dance floor, exposing water. 4. 4.....four.....the number 4........only 4 people got submerged in water. 5. party was evacuated. 6.NO SERIOUS INJURIES 7. as usual, LOTS OF DRAMA TO GO ALONG WITH IT This minor incident has no effect on metro lounge and DID NOT HAPPEN inside metro lounge. It happened in the banquet room of the hotel and DOES NOT EFFECT, IN ANY WAY WHATEVER, the operation of METRO LOUNGE. THESE ARE THE FACTS .
