1. the dj should have been arrested then and there for possession in that case, so i doubt it.
2. more like a boil on the ass of new york's club scene.
3. it says the 'DJ'. so all likelihood it's jp since the investigation has been going on years. it's no secret jp does crystal while he spins. there's a chance it could be junior, but he was there, what, two months?
4. Black won't survive through the end of the year.
5. I recommend everyone get there early for this one so you're not complaining about not getting in.
6. Bullitt bookings does bookings for Deep Dish. It's on their site: http://www.bullittbookings.com/schedules/ So yes it's confirmed.
7. That was the exception not the rule genius. SF had a bad year in terms of numbers last year overall, and that comes straight from people in management. That, and also jp and rg not getting along are why jp's no longer there. Don't expect jp back at Factory even if junior leaves.
8. That's bullshit. SF was often half empty on regular nights, which was why they were riding the theme-party bandwagon with stupid shit like the sock hop party. SF was done before Junior took over.
9. Music was nothing special if anything JP fucking sucked and anyone who thought the set was SICK obviously must have 1) been introduced to JP in the last two years or 2) been on some great drugs. Peters has just deteriorated as a DJ as the years have gone by. To whoever posted a bunch of the tracks JP spun that night on the JP Lovers Only thread, did you happen to notice that that's been his playlist for pretty much the past year!!! You would have thought that with all the time JP's had off from Factory he would done some real record shopping. WRONG! He's TIRED and so are most of those tracks he dropped that night with a few exceptions. It's disappointing to see especially since I used to be a big JP fan, but the man went from being a great DJ, to just another above-average DJ with a big crackhead following. It was nice seeing old Factory heads from the 'good ol days' but the place was full of kiddies and fucking amateurs. Exit is a horrible club, NYE was no exception. The place was at overcapacity. If the fire marshals had been there they would have shut the place down. People were slipping on the stairs, it was really dangerous. Heard someone slip in the bathroom and when he got up there was SHIT on his shirt. The bathrooms were a total nightmare. The coat check was also a mess. They LOST my girlfriend's coat. I went ballistic, and all they could tell me was "come back tomorrow"? If JP's birthday is at Exit I know where NOT to go that night! -Tony
10. Saci last night was bumpin. Good music, good female-male ratio, and beautiful women. Oh, and someone's yellow Lamborghini parked outside the entrance...
11. Any Bronx denizens roaming these boards? New here, looking for clubbers in the vicinity. Peace.
12. Well, not actually. Now that I'vew moved back, this will be the first New Year's I spend in New York since 1994 (age 16 then). What's going to be hot this New Year's ? I'm new to this board and new to clubs here. Any info is appreciated.
13. Also try Living Room, and Chaos, preferably the former, though it can be difficult to get in sometimes. Shadow Lounge has a great atmosphere, and novel bathrooms -- a huge fishtank acts as a wall between the men and women's bathroom.
