I promote for EXIT, TUNNEL, SACI, and LIMELIGHT right now for VIP promotions along with Theory and RoundersNYC -- just for my info, i want to see what NYC clubbers think are the hottest parties and the easiest clubs to sell and for what reasons.

No doubt -- promoting is a tough buisness and not many people appreciate what we do. Of course we're in it for the money and perks, etc. but many of us also LOVE the scene, the clubs, the DJ's, the music, the atmosphere and most importantly educating clubbers about the HOTTEST parties! I'm fortunate enough to work for an amazing promotion company -- VIP promotions!!! If you can find a company thats going to take care of there promoters and actually involve them in the decisions affecting the parties they promote then get involved. You want to sign up with people who are going to be promoting HOT clubs and most importantly NOT cut your numbers. It's harder than you think to draw people to your parties BUT its mad fun to meet so many diverse people and listen to amazing music for free.

Tony Draper is always so tight -- every Friday I leave so pumped I can't wait till Friday comes back again!!! There's nothing like the atmosphere of this place -- 4 floors, 6,000+ people, roof, secret room, snow, smoke, lights, sound, aaaaahhhh -- can you handle it?!?! But Draper is my favorite part -- the whole scene on Friday is really off the hook!!!!

No doubt Theory is right. I work with Kyle at VIP promotions -- we've been watching the messageboards, listening to what the "old school" Tunnel goers have to say about a club they believe was the hottest club in NYC and is now dead and never coming back BUT the Tunnel is back. In 2 months it will be the biggest name in NYC -- phat DJ's spining the illest beats (no cheeze -- we're promising good techno) and the atmosphere is chill already but we hope to take the interal environment to another level. Its time to take NYC back from Exit, SF, etc. and bring the people back where they belong. We're not trying to turn Tunnel into a psuedo-Exit, in fact the opposite -- we're tired of the scene also. Its time to revive and reinvent the Tunnel into something fresh. The people who run the club are listening to you and to what you're tired of in NYC -- I live at Exit on Fri. and do like the scene very much but I believe most clubs have become tourist traps -- we want to make Tunnel into a legendary place again for the people, the music, and the atmosphere.
Just look at last Sat. -- Nero spun the phattest set and time and time again I heard people at the end of the night exclame how it was so nice to hear "great techno again". People who made it out in the weather were shocked at how the DJ's were off the hook in every room -- not to mention how impressed people were with the size of the crowd on a snowy Sat. Why weren't those people at Exit or SF -- because we pulled through on what we promised; great music, chill environment and the guarantee that its only getting better and better.

I went to TUNNEL this Sat. for the first time and was soooo impressed with the club. I've heard so many times how Tunnel is wack BUT this Sat. they brought in some new DJ's to start off the metamorphisis. The atmosphere was phat -- movie projected screens everywhere, lighting was good, many different rooms to please all but Nero on the mainfloor was off the hook. In the upcoming weeks the TUNNEL is going to get better and better -- the place will undergo alittle facelift as well as phat DJ's keeping the club pumping all night and into the morning with the illest beats -- we'll see if you can keep up.

Chillen at my moms house in PA -- all dressed and ready to leave for the city. Mad snow everywhere and its still coming down hard. I drive out to the main road (with a donut on my car) optamistic that I could make it cause I really don't want to miss EXIT tonight. But I start skidding out and I turn around -- so for those of you stuck home like myself I feel for you. I'll be on yahoo later when I stop being pissed if any ya'll wanna chat: viplist1 is my handle.

Tonights gonna be off the hook -- I'm going to EXIT, missed last week, so it'll be mad chill to be some place where I know I'm gonna enjoy the music and the atmosphere. I wish the weather would get better though -- can't wait for those hot NYC nights!
