i would say centro. Very nice layout for a club. The music is good enough for us music whores and vibe is good enough for everyone else. Thats where i've broken all my friends into nyc clubbing and they have a great time there

I'll respect the dissenting opinion on doc...i thought he was great...bangin track selection, very groovy and funky...and from the looks of the crowd they all thought so too..
and i too like the city on the weekends...all the hardcore nycers are out and about...just a better crowd...just me though

When we last caught Rah he was at deep dish closing out on thursday. After the half hour of sleep and a full day of work, me thinks i would attempt to get some sleep. Wrong. Not happening. 9:30 pm. Furnace rolls through, we get festive *cough* now let the games begin. So we go to check out idlewild for crommy's bday:
Interesting venue. Styled like an airplane. At first i didnt like it because even though its themy the place didnt have a comfortable feel to it, well that is after i sat down in the airplane chairs...pretty ill shit...so at this point its like 1:30 i've been up for 42 hrs with .5hrs of sleep, so i figure i'll go home and chill...but then i have idiots around me like pooh and jaMMy who start talking bout danny t at vinyl...so i look up and there i am at vinyl shaking my a$$ till 8:30am...
Danny as always was on point. He didnt play as hard as he did last friday but played very hard and funky nonetheless. Played a few nice epic progressive tracks that i havent heard before and just kept it real funky and tribal housy(how i like it!)...it began in Afrika ka ka ka ka ....so i leave to go home and sleep for the next 12hrs...but i was back up at 11:30am...ran errands, went to the gym, blah blah blah...its 12am so i make my way over to centro for Doc Martin...thanks to jewelzee, krazy k, and jimmy we had a nice spot in line and were able to jump right in...Doc MARTIN...OMG...can we say headfuk...like i was saying to many people the guy knows how to rock a party...was playing a lot of dirty funky ass house...a friend of mine said that he didnt know that house music could sound like that(he listens to a lot more progressive, techno-y type stuff)...but this was just str8 bangin ass shakin house...the mix of prince's -"when doves cry" made people go crazy...and yes he dropped PRINCE!...i was still going and shakin my ass till 5am but then i had to call it quits as i was gettin really delirious and was uncertain to where the hell i was...the chronicles of a hardcore clubber by me =)..72hrs with only 3.5hrs of sleep...
thanks to nyc420 for takin care of me since thursday, wot(fuck centro if they aint ready for the wizard they aint ready....i think centro is ready man), jillymcbunny, raj,jewelz, jim, exodust, charrails, lextacy, krazyk, mook, and all the hundreds of other people who kept me going when i didnt have any energy left...and btw...i did all of this sober(well as sober as i can be)
hope to see you guys out again on tuesday...
and pratiti - i've never met anyone as hardcore as you are...where the fuck are you gettin your energy from!..damn!

i was molested last night on the reals...I feel like this is going to be the sorriest review I’ve ever written considering I cannot recount for a majority of the night considering my mind was being Relentlessly molested all night by DD. I always talk about how much I love Deep Dish(as I should being the president of the “I heart Deep Dish†club)…but last night that was Deep Dish as I’ve grown to love them. During their set a friend said that he loved deep dish because instead of taking you on an upwards build to a peak, they take you on a downward spiral into the deep dark delves of their house(and yes centro was their house last night). They owned everyone. They owned me.
When Deep Dish is on, I think they are as good or better than any dj on the scene. And last night they were on!. Dark, twisted, deep, dirty house in its finest hour. The best way to explain it is FREAKY. Deep Dish plays the shit that noone would have the gall to play like the two skits they dropped: the 1st one about Peanut Butter Water. Get your peanut butter water(I mean WTF). Cant remember the second one. But that ish was ill and ohh so freaky. Sounded like a tripped out circus ring leader or something. Sickness. I’ll try and peace together more trainspots as I can get them but ya’ll know..that shit aint happenin… they dropped

I’m sorry but I’m still a bit taken aback. That was the closest I’ve ever been to crying at a set. So nasty. Tried to go home 4 times, but my ass would not allow me to leave. And now I’m sitting here at my desk after 30 minutes of sleep. Completely out of it. But every last second of deep dish was worth it. Deep Dish up. Thank you to everyone who was there last night and added to my state of euphoria.
Now to my separate 2 cents: these guys love playing in NYC(as do all djs). They gave us their heart and souls last night and played a set that I don’t know if I was worthy of hearing. Please continue to support the remaining clubs and djs that come to nyc especially for stuff like the Danny Howells party cause at the rate things are going, we don’t know when we’ll get to hear these guys again.
I’m sorry if all of this is incoherent babbling but deep dish turned my brain off.

centro is usually open till between 5-6...and your bf should be ok as long as your with him...you can get away with sneaks at centro but it just makes it easier if they're girls with you!...and hooj...we'll def be doing some deep dishing come tomorrow...cant wait
