Hey Babe! Back from the dead!
So how was it? Gimme more details.
We ended-up going to Sona. We had a cue from someone working at Aria that only one of the three rooms was finished and that the guestlist was shortened accordingly. We wanted to make sure we would have a smooth party so we switched to a sure value. It's probably a good thing cause I heard that people who were'nt on the list waited about three hours to get in. Beside that, all comments were really good about the place. How was the atmosphere, is there more of a concept than at Sona?
By the way, I dont know if it is a new policy of them but half our gear stayed at the door friday night at Sona. So watch-out next time you go.
Navid now. I'm sorry you did'nt get a good vibe from "the Frenchies". It is too bad cause [being one]I pride myself with montrealers being very warm and friendly. Either you just met the wrong people or they were just a little shy speaking english [not evrybody is perfectly bilingual]. On the other hand, without going into that big language discussion, part of Montreal charm is that it is french. If what you want is an american club with an american crowd you shouldnt come to Montreal... that's really not what it's about.
Anyway, get in touch next time you come. Maybe I can give you a better idea of what montrealers are.
Ciao guys, have a good week!
FAIR ENUF, THANKS FOR THAT...a bientot

Honestly, I just can't stand the crap on this board. I was told a long time ago by a staffer at cnyc that they couldn't lock or delete threads or ban users because of legal issues. That's what makes this board shitty... too many idiots, trouble makers, and drama queens. I can't deal with the shit, I don't have that kind of time in my day, and life is too short.
At least over there, there's people around to shut up the idiots.
But I'm still here reading kids.

First off, wtf is this Pac copying biggie shit? Pac died Sept. 13, 1996. He released Makaveli on Nov 6, 1996. Biggie died March 9, 1997 and released Life After Death in June of 97.
So Pac was the first to release a posthumous album. But Biggie didn't copy shit. It's not like he invented releasing an album after you are dead (a.k.a posthumous). Those two albums were finished at the time of their death, as far as their involvement goes. The only thing was to put the finishing production touches on and press em.
P. Diddy released BIGs Born Again a couple years after he died, and Pac's R.U. Still Down? was released in Nov of 97, his Greatest hits released in Nov of 98, and Still I Rise in Dec of 99. Now his latest posthumous album was released a few weeks ago.
So first get that straight. Now, the album Until The End of Time (2cds). There were/are many bootlegs on tha streets circulating since his death. They were called Makaveli Parts 2-6. Basically this new cd (UTEOT for short) is that shit but with new beats and some new artists lending lyrics/vocals. I dont have it but one of my boys does, and CD 1 is really tight, CD 2 is just OK.
I'd get it if you're a Tupac fan. Otherwise, it might just be more of the same. If you heard any of the bootlegs (Parts 2-6), then you might be a little disappointed, cause the grimyness and grittiness of the beats have been replaced with more "radio friendly" sounds. But they did a good job overall. I do think he was a great artist and rapper. I don't know if I'm gonna cop it right now, though. Peace.
Thanks...Dr Pac
