So..uh..is this your way of saying you have been deflowered...i don't know if I can ever look into those big beautiful eyes the same again. thanks again for the SF memories, loved every moment.

  2. I heard from a friend that mob ties have a lot to do with clubs closing or staying open. Apparently the people in charge didn't like who was running the show at TWILO because they were not mob affiliated and they were taking the majority of the club traffic, so they put the pressure on the city to close TWILO down. This is just some scoop I heard and I think there may be a lot of relevance to this considering how much money goes through clubs and how easy is it to launder money through club earnings.

    What does everyone else think?

  3. Centro was off da motherfuckin hook.....Roger S played some dark, twisted, house with a few classics sprinkled in and slammin remixes of "Hide You" and Depeche Mode's "I Feel You." Another testament to the consistent sounds from Subliminal.

  4. Another question?

So when they say Tenaglia was one of the first to play the B-sides of records, i'm curious as to why nobody else did it before him, i mean if it's on the record, why wouldn't any DJ play it, was it really that amazing that DT played the B-sides back then?

wouldn't most DJs try to play different mixes of the tunes and not the popular

"A side" all the time, why was it so uncommon back then?

yes, "shyster" will soon follow after name, similar to the ESQ. tag most persons of my upright profession are known as.

what's up james, major props to you again for spelling my name right, i must say i am impressed. you going to Centro-fly this Thursday for Morillo's B-day party? i was there till 5:00 last week for Emerson, i don't kno whow much longer my body can take nights like that, but you gotta do it now before it's too late. How was the WMC?

  6. Allright, I'll step up to the plate and be the first to admit it, the music, a al trance, house, came after the first time I rolled. I was a hard-core hip-hop and alternative music rock fan (Bush, Pearl Jam) until that day i first rolled. Now, I don't even know anything about hip-hop or rock, I am so into trance/house, but luckily though i don't need the roll anymore to appreciate it.

  7. When you get right down to it....we always take people for granted and never tell them how we feel...i am guilty of this more than I care to admit, especially when it comes to love and friendship...i wish i could stop being so hard all the time..it's so hard for me to open up and let someone in, what am I so afraid of, so I get hurt, life moves on, "everyone hurts sometimes." Funny thing is that E has really helped me open up, it's pretty interesting that it took drugs to help me, but I am huge proponent of E for this single reason, i really think E changed my life, i'm not afraid anymore, i just wish I could have coem to this realization earlier, but no sense in regretting...that kind of thing is the worst state of mind.

However, it is a drug and it should not be abused,, but i just had to say my peace, because i was wondering if this has really affected anyone else the way it has deeply affected me.

  8. Is it just me or have I become a total music snob spoiled by the amazing dance meccas in NYC? I can't even think about going to any other club besides these three and music in other clubs just makes we want to throw up. How amazing is it to live in this era of electronic dance music at three totally different clubs but with three totally cool vibes. Is the best time ever to live in the NYC club culture? Never lived in NY during the TUNNEL, LIMELIGHT days, but that time was about so much more than the music. I feel now it's more about the music than anything else? Thoughts?

  9. I'm so glad you asked this question. There is an amazing drum n bass party tonight. It's called Mutiny, which is South Asian drum n bass, probably one of the best monthly parties in the city. I'm going tonight and you're welcome to come with along with any other people who want to expand their music appreciation. Check it out at The Cooler on 416 W. 14th St., btw. 9th and 10th Aves.
