We're honored to have our favorite UK duo back in town again on Saturday April 24th @ Privilege.
Also a special treat this time around is the presence of the Dominican's finest residents Vega and Aldo D'alessandro, who between them have worked with virtually every big name in the business. Last but not least our own Craig Demo will be on those all important warm-up duties...

Just want to answer a few questions and concerns so that you guys know what's going on:
- The event starts at 12 midday on Friday @ Nikki's, although last time quite a few people arrived around 11 to grab the good spots - that was a good idea...
- The event runs until 5am, and there will be no cover at any time. Arrive at 3am? You're welcome. No cover. You can quote me
- We don't have the final running order yet, but we do know that Seb Fontaine, Judge Jules, Lottie, Josh Wink, Eddie Halliwell, and Aloud will all play after 11pm, and Tong, Morillo, Oakenfold, Howells, Audio Bullys, Yousef, etc etc before. DeckJunkies will be on throughout the day and night.
- Nikki's will be fenced from Thursday, so the only entry will be through the front door.
- We have no way of knowing what time the club will fill, but probably early, and we'll be limiting capacity so please arrive as early as possible. We had 10,000 people throughout the day last time.
- It's gonna be fkn great!

Gotta agree here, no matter what your feeelings are toward Space, Oscar is a great DJ and a great guy. He's gotten involved several times with Cool Junkie projects just to help us out, help new DJ's out, and help the scene grow. That deserves much respect.

Last year wasn't a scam - all of the DJ's were scheduled to play, but because war broke out that day it was deemed inappropriate for us to broadcast a live event, so Pete had to broadcast from a studio instead.

It was called Cielo during last conference, but I think that's over too. They had a huge party with a bunch of the big NYC residents from what I remember.

Guys I have to interject here before this becomes a 'we hate the french doorman' thread.
Alerig @ Opium is a very cool door guy - I've worked with him several times now and he's always been very polite to all customers. You have to remember that he gets hundreds of people telling him that they're friends of the owner, or DJ's, or whatever, and if he doesn't know you the first time you attend the club it's really not his fault.
On Friday at 12.10, he actually asked everyone on the CoolJunkie list to raise their hands, and took care of everyone waiting so that they wouldn't have to pay full cover. We didn't ask him to do that, and it was a classy move.
The door guys don't set the rules, they're just asked to follow them. It's their job to balance the crowd, and if they didn't it would be their ass on the line.
