This week is the Glow stick Valentine's Day party at Strata.
Everyone receives a glow stick when they walk in:
Red means you're taken
Green means you're single
yellow means you may be seeing someone but are approachable...

It's my best friend's 30th birthday on Saturday and she wants to celebrate in Hoboken. I know some of her other friends will want us to start out at a bar, but with a little of my influence we'll end up at a club ( - Lana?). I just don't know the area at all... Any suggestions for bar or club? - thanks!
Lana is a good time with a bar in the front club lounge setting in the back room but only after 1100pm. Try PLANET, or hell any where at all in hoboken is pretty good. You guys want to start at bars just drive or walk through Washington Ave, you stumble on one every 10 feet you take.

The DJ should spin whatever he is comfortable with, whatever format it may be. He is the one doing the work. I don't see the difference, as long as you rock the party. Yes, vinyl sounds better but believe me, 99% of the people there cannot tell the difference. 75% of the people who go out don't even know who is DJing, nor do they care. They are just out to have a good time and meet people. It is stupid, people have been having this argument for years. Who cares what the DJ uses? It's all about having fun.[/quote}

I love how everybody talks about Iberia like it's the only restaurant in Down Neck newark. I mean come on people have some class, walk a little bit further into newark, don't stay at the beginning. How about Adega's Bar and Grill. If you want food that will make you feel damn good, and love the atmosphere go here. Most people think of this place as only a lounge, called adega right next door to the restaurant but DAMN GOOD FOOD, and guys the atmosphere will keep her wonderin about after the night. Other great food spots Campinos, next to XL Lounge, or Seabras Marisqueira, across from the Adega Parking lot on the side street. Ypu people HAVE GOT to shop around in Newark.. that food is just to damn good. Also don't think I only love food from Newark.. American Bistro in Nutley is most def. one of the best Italian places I've been to in a while. Chart House is HOT for scene and Food, and Ruths Chris Steak House.. WOW.. now the Ruth's in Wehawkenn.. I think it's weak.. Go to the one in Parsipanny in the Hilton Hotel on RT 10. Trust me worth the drive, worth the week ahead res. worth the price that place got that shit off as far as steak...
god .. you think I love food.. I'm goin on a page here.. anyways have fun shoppin for your appetite..

Terrorists suck so bad that now they are telling us that one of the top targets in NJ will be mainly the Prudential Insurance Buildings around North Jersey, so for all that work here, or have peeps that they know up in these buildings god bless and give them a headz up. -

It all depends on what you want to do, If it's strictly clubin go to sandbar, or south city grill in JC, if it's loungin then welcome to north jersey.. Euro, Adega, South Park, Wiskey Bar, XL, South city etc.. or of course any place in Hoboken..
