  1. I agree that Tempts closing party was fun but most of you who have been to Tempts closing parties for the last 8 years must admit something was just missing. I even sensed it in Denny's voice he didnt seem his happy usual self for some obvious reasons. If you go back say 3 or 4 years ago the closing party was always better but then again they were under diffrent circumstances. Denny was great but like I said a certain feeling was missing in that place. Maybe it was the amount of newbies who just dont get what a Tempts closing party is all about. By the way 6 six years ago every Sat And Sunday were just about as good as any closing party. Boy things do change.
  2. Best place??? Umm I know for a fact that all of the afterhours are better then Dome.
  3. Dress codes = whatever the fuck you want! Montreal Rules!! Anything goes!!
  4. All I can say to the above post is Wow!!! Need I say more!! Aria is fucking great. Wear what the hell you want and pretty much do what the fuck you like. Its all about the music.
  5. You will get all of this at any of these places. Trust me on these spots you cant go wrong. I heard Astral Project at Aria and maybe just maybe it was the best set I have ever heard. By the way I went to Twilo every Friday night so thats saying a lot. Have fun.
  6. Stereo, Sona, Aria and Circus. I have been to Montreal many many times. Afterhours is were its at. Maybe one of these places may have been shut down but I hit up Aria and Stereo last year and these places are just sick. As good as any afterhours that I have hit up in any part of the world.
  7. Hey Masterfull one thanks. I will def make a comeback! Lots of the stuff you say about Vegas are dead on so big props to you. About covers the ones we paid didnt seem to be out of the ordinary. I saw most covers ranging from 20 to 30. Your best bet is to get bottles. I am not really into the whole bottles scene but in Vegas it really works out, well I guess it depends on what you are doing. Try bottle service at least at one hot spot.
  8. Ok so after all the drama of what to wear and how to get in. My friends and I finally got over to Vegas and had a blast. First of all all the comments about not being able to wear a decent pair of kicks into some of the clubs is hogwash. Vegas as a whole impressed me, even though its not NYC I dont think it pretends to be. I think Vegas by far is the #1 place in the country were people just come to party and live it up. All the mix of people from diffrent spots only being in town for 3 or 4 nights really adds spice to the whole mix. I no order here are the reviews for the clubs that we checked out. I left some out because we werent there long enough to evaluate. Hard Rock Casino and Center Bar. Def a great great chill and pre party spot. Great Drinks Cheap and lots of people just getting ready to party. Will def. stay at the Hard Rock next time in town. Pure The place itself is sweet. Really popular right now so if you plan on waiting in line you will be there for a while but the wait it worth it. Spent my night on the roof listening to Farsheed and his toned down version of house. Though the music was a bit soft that place overall was great. Great views, Great Drinks and a lively ass crowd. This place impressed me. A must do in Vegas. Drais Had dinner at Drais and the food was avg. but the service was great. Then headed back for afterhours a few nights and even though the place is small it also has a great vibe to it and is a must do. Eating there in the day you would never think that the place could be so phat in terms of afterhours. Music was good enough to keep me moving and the crowd was def jumping. Ice This place is very nice. Farsheed def ripped it up here. This guy can spin with the best of them. I was super impressed with him as a dj. He is way into his music and he knows what he is doing. For a second there I thought I was at a mini Twilo. Downside of Ice is the crowd. Nice nice people but just not attractive enough. Oh well I guess you cant have it all. Body English. To start off with Body English has a great looking crowd but I really dont get the music that Dj Am is spinning. I give him props for packing that place but the music is frigging putrid. I imagine people like it though because the place was packed and people were killing each other to get in. Overall Body English is avg. Rehab What can you say about Rehab that hasnt been said. Fun times, the place is rocking. A must do in Vegas. I wonder what the place gets like if and when they have a big name dj spinning there? Must be sick. I know I am missing lots of stuff but this is my basic breakdown. Overall I give Vegas 2 big thumbs up.
  9. The obvious answer is going to be Ice. Other then that though what spots are going to be playing house only or at least have a decent room with house music or tech?? I will finally be coming to town from Thurs to Monday and need to pick some spots out before we go? Thanks in advance.
  10. So what you are saying is that Oakenfold has not earned his price???? That makes a lot of sense considering you go to a club in the city or even jersey and you are going to pay 20-30 bucks for a frigging nobody when you compare him to a legend.
  11. Listen I believe Oakenfold has done enough in his career to pretty much do whatever the fuck he wants now. Yes he is commercial but the guy at least acts like he is energized when he spins. We are talking about energy now.
  12. Ok I really wanted to end this here but did you say, learn something? What about a certain guy by the name of Oakenfold, does he just sit there and look sappy? What about a certain guy Picotto? Does he just stand there and look retarded? I think these guys have earned there place among the best. Please dont tell me that the top flight guys dont show emotion in the booth. Not going to sit here and give you my resume but I have seen pretty much every important dj of our time and most of them are always into the music they are spinning. If you dont like what you are spinning why should I? I guess Carl Cox doesnt get amped in the booth does he? You should get out some and learn.

  14. Where do I DJ??? In my fucking toilet with my little sausage. The point about me looking at the dj and not the girls sorry. Excuse me I was at the club with my girl, oh yeah by the way I was enjoying my drinks just not the music. Guys to sum up maybe I am a bit old and biased towards vinyl. So Sorry and WAAAWAAA if you don't like my comments. Some of you so called DJ's take the Cd's comment way to heart, chill out dude. I am sure you are a great Dj with CD's. You all have inspired me I have a few songs on my laptop I am thinking about taking it to clubs and laying down some beats. Wow that sounds great! Should I bring my pocket protector as well?
  15. That really makes me think less of Morillo as well. Well too bad. By the way Ojeda was fucing miserable looking. Why be so fucking bored. I dont get it. I much rather have seen him throw on a pre-mixed Cd then leave then come back and hit stop and throw it over to Klutch.
