Divine Force and Tease are going all out on this loft party. The Daylight Loft is an absolutely breathtaking 5000 sq. ft. penthouse loft with dramatic city and Hudson River views, all of which are under majestic 18ft ceilings, plush private lounge areas, and twelve fully finished bathrooms!
We are providing a variety of drinks from beer to Long Island Ice Tea. All drinks will range in price from $5 to $6.
The event will feature a state of the art surround sound system provided by Divine Force, the new sound engineer at ARC. This sound system is sure to make you move your body.
Pro Lighting and Video Projection / Visuals will be provided by none other then Quark Lighting.
2-5am DJ DIVINE, the headlining DJ is a 17-year veteran DJ who has spun on the Main Floor at almost every major club in Manhattan and has toured across the U.S. and Canada. You might have heard him lately at GrooveJet, Abaya, or Filter 14. Divine ripped it up at Filter where he spun a 6-hour set to a cheering Friday night crowd. He spins a blend of Progressive House & Trance, Tribal, and Techno.

The Venue Arshile, named after the famous Armenian painter Arshile Gorky. This beautiful bi- level night lounge is located in the heart of the Village. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Matt acquired his first taste in
electronic dance music early in the days of Philly's underground rave
scene influenced by the likes of Josh Wink and Nigel Richards. From
small parties to opening spots to one off gigs, all that hard work
has helped Matt earn residencies at Philadelphia's premiere
nightclubs such as Shampoo, Transit, and Evolution. Matt is already
spinning with names like Danny Howells, Dave Seaman, Sandra Collins,
Scott Henry, DJ Dan, Dave Ralph, Max Graham, Randall Jones, and
Phillip Charles. Matt's name and music is reaching out and
penetrating other music hubs like New York City, Los Angeles, San
Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Washington DC as well as the
international scene. Matt's progressive sound is highly influenced by
artists and organizations such as Bedrock, Lexicon Ave, Carl Cox,
Chab, Front 242, Voyager, Yoshitoshi, Tigerhook Corp., Hooj Choons,
Weekend World, James Holden, SAW, GU, and Renaissance, just to name a

I had a feeling you were being an ass!!! I always play the darker sides of trance. I'm not on the fluffy side. Dropping classic tunes to make you dance and have some fun and thats what this party is about. Remembering the good old times. This party insures that theres alot more to follow.

I'll be spinning a beach party that morning in LI but I should be back in time to drop some beats at your place if your serious... Also this week is Techno nite @ the remodeled Leopard Lounge you should stop in...

I haven't seen all of the new changes but I think there are still two on the first level and one on the second. I know last week they put in a new booth and they knocked down a wall. Last week the owner said prepare yourself for next weeks changes that this week was nothing!!!

I have to agree with you on this one. I hear lots of people refering to techno when its not. This party is definately TECHNO and not wank generic dance music. The D3 party has always been about bringing in the best of the local NYC underground DJ's.
There are plenty of spots to hear the big boys/girls. Show your support theres NO COVER. ANthony Velarde has been spinning a few years now and is definately a great DJ to start the event off with. Poizon Ivy is very hard and will bang shit out. Monro Secor blew the roof off last time he spun. He kept the crowd there till the very end. They didnt want to get off the dance.
Now that you know alittle more about the party and the DJ's, I hope you will make it out.

i have heard all types of music called techno that i would never have put in that category.....sorry to come across as a genre snob...i like lots of different music types....the classification issue is geting me though cos i don't know your local djs...and techno is my favourite thing......
so final question is what domestic djs do you recommend, and are there any techno nights fri or sat....works sucks but a girls got to eat....

Ian Mariano has been called a "turntable tour de force" in Cleveland, OH, the city he currently calls home, flys out of (as a private pilot.)
Ian got his start DJing in 1988 where he met Scott Forbush (Grandpa Techno). They collaborated and eventually launched The Church in 1991, Sundays at Metropolis in Cleveland. Ian was Scott's protege, and together they helped shape and define the Cleveland Electronica scene, both by DJing and bringing in such artists as Laurent Garnier, Lenny Dee, N-Joi, Carl Cox, Ritchie Hawtin, and many more to Cleveland.
Eventually Forbush retired and Ian took over the mantle, and with the exception of 2 years, has held a residency at The Church, which is still going after 10 years.
