David Hollands (Minimal Wage) will be spinning at the Leopard Lounge this Thursday Jan 10th.
If you havent heard Mr Holland's spin yet this is a perfect opportunity to check him out. This DJ has spun with Richie Hawtin at CentroFly and the Detroit Music Festival. Both times I got to enjoy his banging Detroit style techno set. He is spinning from

I am truly happy for you that you are going someplace to start over. I totally understand where you are coming from. You stand strong and remember your friends. On the other hand I am saddend for NY's club scene's loss. You depict how I see the club goer. You go for the music and not the big name. You generate an excellent vibe. You add heart and warth to a party. I was always happy to see you at my parties or any party. If there was such a place as Mugwumpia I would be honored to be one of its resident DJ's. Your attitude toward the scene is exactly what I was looking for from the people that go to my parties. Yet another loss for NYC. You will be missed my friend. Please keep in touch and much success and love in your travels.

The best demos will give you an opportunity to play for an open turntable event at the Leopard Lounge. The winner of the open turntable event will get to open at the next loft party. Thursdays featured DJ is none other then David Hollands. Hollands played a bangin' set at CentroFly, spinning with Richie Hawtin. He is also a Twilo vet. I got the pleasure to hear him up in Detroit at DEMF. You can hear him for free Thursday night, with Marcell Whitehead and DJ Divine. His set begins at midnight till 2. Then DJ Divine comes on to close out the night.
Hey then Friday you can hit up the Pseudo Loft for the Submission party. Those of you who have already been there get to see what we've done with it. We are adding a bigger sound to their existing system, intelligent lighting and a green laser. No we don't play. Hopefully we will see everyone at both events.
Have a demo drop it off at Leopard Lounge and see what we've done with there sound system exclusively for the D3 party.

Here are some details: its on Friday Dec 21, 2001. 2 Dance Floors & chill out area... 6th Floor with a view of the city. Very Good sound system. For those who have partied at my place you know the system. Intelligent lighting and projection system will be on hand...

For those of you who want to get out tonight and spent a little to much cash yesterday on pricy events or if your interested in some pre party action. I have convinced management to keep Leopard Lounge open for some after turkey dinner drinks and butt shaken from 9pm - 4am. Not everyone can afford the expensive cover of most places with so many of us being unemployeed. Only the upper level will be open. So come join the family and work off that turkey. I ll be dropping some tunes with Marcell Whitehead and Mr. Pooh.
