  1. To begin I have read the board for years and never felt the need to post although this place needs help. I was there Saturday from 10 to close.

#1 Get a DJ. How can they play Salt-n-peppa (push it) followed by Tone Loc and then Bon Jovi? Is this the DJ from Breakfast Club? Bad, real bad. They did finally manage to play some and I mean "some" new club mixes but it was already too late.

#2 Fix the fire alarm. After 3 times people left and did not come back.

#3 $8 a drink is high. Some did charge less and I found that $8 was the standard for Kettle One and 7. You can not take your $8 drink into the bathroom and they want you to leave it on a table. Sorry, but I will not do that with any drink that I still want.

#4 Get the dinner crowd out earlier. I don't want to see my father's gray haired friends hanging at 12:00.

#5 Finish the sound system and lighting. It was like being at a bad wedding. I guess they ran out of cash to do it right.

This place does have potential but I do not see the "REAL" clubbers going back.

This is exactly how everyone that really "goes out" feels about Studio 9. You are not the only one. :aright:

  2. The Place Was Sickkkkkkkkkk Tonite. Thanx Everyone For Coming Out.

Are you kidding?? :cheese: The best was the confusion in the parking lot and at the door. And that ginzo cheap suit guy drinkin his wine. That rooms has potential, but I doubt they will ever get a consistent crowd. We stayed for 20 minutes and shot down 35 to hear someone who at least knows how to spin records. I wonder how studio 9 will be next week

  3. iio - Runaway (Peter Rauhofer)

Nikki B & Christian Effe - Eyes (original mix)

David Morales - Can't forget You (Kinkyfunk mix)

Todd Paterson - This is how we do it (a1)

    Tom Sawyer - Tonight

That kid Chris - Crash Goes love (white label)

Carl Kennedy - The Love you

    JP - Privet (extended)

Stanny Fransen vs Oscar G - Free (ultra nate)

Cevin Fisher - Feelings (B side)

  4. Deko gets my total respect for bringing in top notch talent for their thursday & sat jams....much props to the crew over there

stop by cafe soundz in montclair and talk to bobby....do a lil research, talk to him, pick up some fllyers yourself and you'll find the good partys....tell him i sent ya

Anyone that knows me knows that I was referring to deko in my original post as being the exception in New Jersey. Without out a doubt it is the only place that is consistently staying on top with new talent, new ideas, and an all-out awesome nightlife experience in New Jersey. So we agree there. :aright:

Cafe Soundz?? What are they involved with? I believe i have to go thru the holland tunnel to get what I want when I don't feel like staing in NJ

  5. Its just that simple. :D I mean for the most part everyone on this board is good people, well those I've met at least. Goin out in Jersey just isn't the same anymore. Not much talent at any of the venues, except for "you know where". Props to them for keepin Jersey somewhat respectable. (here saturday!)

I'm glad to see those promotions moved to another forum. Every promoter thought they had the hottest thing goin on every week and they didn't. Clueless people at these places..and clueless people now all over. They should change the site name to cheeseplanet.com...

  6. dope ass set by JP all the way to the end. Not the best halloween party by any means but the man ripped it to shreds...fuckin worked irony synth for 40 minutes whaaaaaaaaaaat. stage shows creative blaaaaaaaaah.haters shut it..rip it jonny. Good seein thesandman at the next table behind the booth

  7. This happens at a lot of NJ clubs. They think they have to do a lil hip hop. whether its in another room, or a lil bit in between or at the end of perhaps a DJ's well pplayed set. This my friends, is why a lot of the people who used to go out in jersey all the time hit the city now. More knowledgeable industry out there...more consistent parties. Rip it Denny!
