Classic Sunday. I was yappin wit JP in the bathroom at Surf. He seemed somwhat lost. Anyway, pretty funny that he was in the area, along with Jim Heinz. I'm pretty sure he wanted to see what NJ DJ's were droppin "it". Not one of em did tho, for whatever reason. Perhaps they think it is just, and I quote, "Whateverrrrrrr".

"yo baby" by itself doesnt work. However, "Yo baby..I'd twist you out backside" works amaaaaazing.

I think Platinum can definitely pull it off. They had a good crowd when Mark was there rippin it up. I like the setup, but I dont think there promotion was the best. Drinks were $$$, but bearable. Its tough tho because that area is sooo mixed with different people. Mostly the drunkem Rutgers kids who rather hear some Hip-Hop than an underground sound. I bet it can happen tho. I think they need a good resident DJ to get things movin. Not no Rutgers clown who plays "Idol" to close a night.

Last night was just simply sick. Richie had an amazing set. Track selection could not be beat, and he really controlled the crowd. Impressed me, and thats usually not easy to do. In your Eyes is a song that cannot br compared to anything else out there now. Hype or not, the girl is sooo young and her voice just gives me chills. And its not because I go to SF that I love this song, I just do. George- thanks for keepin the drinks flowin. Dan - mad girls were rubberneckin. I hear ya. Think about it tho. Luz has the potential to be the next Whitney Houston, or any big-time vocal diva. She is unsigned to a label, and her voice can really only be heard in SF. Her production and management teams need to keep it tight until they figure out who is going to give them $$$$$ for working thus far with her. Soon enough tho...soon enough.
