  1. I'm around too....not that anyone here really cares.....but Millie would if she was still around
  2. there is??? and he didn't invite me? what a poophead.
  3. DOH! What else "big" is going on in DC in August besides Hybrid? Sandra Collins weekend is out...i need the end of the month. Any ideas?
  4. Anyone know that staus of FUR? Is it going to be ready for Digweed on 8/28?
  5. I'm a big fan of his Resident: Two Years at Cream Cds...that was what got me interested in elecronica to begin with.
  6. I guess I'll go...I've always been curious to form my own opinion about a live Oakie set...and the one good thing about being unemployed is that I don't have to go to work the next day...and I really don't have anything better to do!
  7. If you could only go to one more live DJ set, who would you go see? I lived in NY when S&D were at Twilo every month, so I have seen them more than any other live set. That being said, I still would go with them! Can I add another option to the poll? I don't see how...looks like only moderators can... #5) The venue is more important
  8. 1) 10/26/01 - 8 Year Anniversary Party and my first time at Nation. Also, the first time I met Millie. The Buzz website says Alex Whalen and William Dieter were in the main room, but I seem to remember Dave Ralph and Scott Henry spinning that night as well. Also, I seem to remember something about Slam canceling that night and getting a discount on admisison. 2) 4/14/02 - Sasha/Digweed/Jimmy Van M 3) 8/23/02 - Crystal Method/DJ Micro 4) 3/1/02 - Honeydew 3 - Carl Cox I think those are the only 4 times I've been...looks like I need to get myself one more!!!
  9. First I would like to say <nelson> HA HA! </nelson>. That's what you get for stealing your coach from us. I went to Georgia Tech for undergrad...and with a true freshman at QB this year, I don't expect much from them. I went to Virginia Tech for grad school, so I guess I'll be rooting for them this year. Before I went to college, my dad and I used to root for Michigan (where he went), so anytime they are in a big game, I root for them as well. So those are my teams whose bandwagon I will already be on if they are doing well. I have already heard 2 guys on ESPN pick Virginia Tech to be in the championship game...I dunno about that... Millie, if you go to Kings Dominion, let me know...it's just a short ride down I-95 from my place!
  10. I never get a straight answer from women....yeah, i'm around. I've moved here for good!
  11. are you living back here again????
  12. What is the conflict tonight? Will Trust still be open to the public or is there a private party or something???
  13. Something like that has happened to me before....My e-mail was used to register, but my credit card info and stuff like that was not involved. You probably don't need to worry about it. Of course, now that I said that, you are going to have a $4,000 charge for Silly Putty.
  14. Hey! Remember me? We met up one time at nation...you were with Walker...I'm a friend of UrbanJester's from NB. I just moved to the DC area....i thought you lived here, but from the statement "i'll be down in DC on the 4th" I guess not....anyway, HEY!
  15. My name is Darren...and if I remember correctly, I met you and Brian at Ruthie's the night that Slam was supposed to spin at Nation but then backed out for some reason. Millie and I (and my friends) still went to go see Dave Ralph, but I don't think you did. I remember talking with Brian about Twilo and John Digweed. It was maybe a year and a half ago???
  16. Well, get your tiny little ass back here!!! Was Brain the one behind the decks that night? I met a lot of people that night, so I can't remember too many names....besides yours, of course!
  17. I was surprised to see Code@Nation. When Buzz moved to Baltimore, I was under the impression that Nation was no longer going to have DJs. I guess that wasn't the case...I'm glad to see that...I really like that place. Ever since Twilo closed, Nation has been my favorite place to go.
  18. Thanks for all the replies….I selected the name trancedance many years ago when I first got into the scene and I didn’t know the difference between styles…and it has just stuck. Anyway, here is a short list of DJs that I would refer to as big names that I would want to go see spin: Digweed, Carl Cox, Sasha, Danny Howells, Danny Tenaglia, Dave Seaman, Deep Dish, Saeed & Palash, Nick Warren, Seb Fontaine, Max Graham, Dave Ralph…you get the idea.
  19. I just moved to the DC area, and now that Buzz is in Baltimore, is there anywhere in DC to see the big name DJs that used to spin at Nation?
  20. Krizia gets plenty of attention without posting her boobies...people like being around her...she is a cool, fun girl... and the great rack doesn't hurt!
  21. Ok, so JVM's set is 11pm-1am...S&D are going to close...what time will that be? I can't believe they would only have a 3 hour set. Usually you get Sasha for an hour or two, than digweed for the same than alternating back and forth. Does this mean they are going past 4am?
  22. I can't find anything on BUZZ's website for the S&D show. Just a general comment that weekday shows usually go from 9pm-4am. Since doors open a 9pm, I assume they are only going to 4am. Anyone know for sure?
  23. I will be celebrating my birthday on fri at Vinyl! Feel free to join in on the fun! ------------------ I am.
  24. although, I could think of some fun ways to make a Nazi scream! ------------------ I am.
