This Saturday Nov. 1
It has finally happened. Centro-Fly, the city's coolest club, has been re-designed and reinvented and is now being re-opened.
When you walk back in, you won't be able to recognize the club, with three new rooms that have been created within the main room. Next to the beautiful new bar area, you'll see the fabulous indoor garden which has been carpeted floor to ceiling with grass. Diagonally opposite, in the raised alcove area, there is a sumptuous lounge area with a sunken 'conversation pit '.
And behind the new DJ booth (which is now on the dancefloor) there is a 'bleacher style' seating area divided into separate, private areas for lounging, chatting and kanoodling etc.
Drinks are reasonably priced too (beers are $4, cocktails less expensive than before) and the sound system has been beefed up to fill the room with music of unprecedented clarity.
The Grand Opening of GBH's new weekly party is this Saturday November 1, with DJs Carl Kennedy and Neil Aline playing all around the funky house in the main room, while in the downstairs room, Colt Seavers will be playing hip-hop and classics.

Freak Show Halloween Party at Lotus
The club will be decorated in a Carnivale theme with a freak show featuring a tattooed man, a rubber girl (on trapeze), a bearded lady and a snake charmer.
DJs in the main room will be Carl Kennedy and Jared Dietsch with all that funky house, while downstairs DJ Naomi and Colt Seavers will be playing hip-hop and classics.
The Halloween Party at Lotus with its celebrity clientele is traditionally one of the hottest tickets in the city - so we recommend you get your $20 ticket in advance. And remember, costumes are mandatory.
